Guru Purnima Celebration

SBES celebrated Guru Purnima on 8th (9th

July being Sunday). Students from all the

three institute participated in the cultural

program and paid tribute to their teachers.

5 days Finishing School Program for

fresh batch (2017-19)

Like every year this year also IIMS

organised a 5 days finishing school

program “Ordinary to extraordinary”

for the new batch of 2017 by the renowned

motivational speaker and corporate trainer

Mr. Minocher Patel. On the occasion Mr.

Anil Goel, Chairman, Duroshox Pvt. Ltd.

was also present in capacity of chief guest

to inaugurate the session. The 5 days

finishing school program by international

corporate trainer and consultant was aimed

towards making the young managers,

acquaint with corporate culture and

etiquettes, The program was well taken by

all 160 participants. The closing ceremony

of the program got blessing of Dr. Balaji

Gopalan, Asia Pacific HR and Director,

Member of Board- CARRARO Group who

was the Chief Guest of the ceremony.

Self Defence lessons for Women

9th July

In today’s world, it is always good to be

prepared to protect yourself. SBES

organised a workshop to teach women

(students and staff) to use martial arts

techniques to protect themselves and others

in danger. They learned how to block an

attack and how to counteract with a

powerful attack on the perpetrator with

punches, chops, and kicks. The workshop

was conducted by the karate experts from

Sports & Education Development

Society’s DEFENCE SPORTS

ACADEMY Martial Arts (Karate)

Training School. The resource persons

were Mr. Anand More, Ms. Sheetal More,

Ms. Seemali Vahalkar, Ms. Rutuja Pathrat,

Mr. Rakesh Yadav, and Mr. Amay Pisal

Annual General Meeting (SBIIMS)

The annual General Meeting of SBIIMS

was organized on 1st July 2017 with an

agenda to review the past year performance

and to discuss plans and opportunities for

the year ahead. The meeting was attended
