We are excited that we have added knitting to our calendar. We are happy to introduce Jennifer, a volunteer Knitting Teacher. She is talented and patient. She will be here to encourage you to continue to knit. She is also looking forward taking on people who would like to learn to knit or crochet. Jennifer will be here every Tuesday night (except the 1st Tuesday) at 6:00 to work on projects with you. We are excited about the direction of this class. We will be knitting for a cause. This month we are making pouches for the baby animals who survived the fires in Australia. Jennifer has someone wonderful ideas for knitting projects. These projects will be based on giving back to the community for those in need. Please consider coming to Knit One Pearl Two on Tuesdays! Tea can lower risks of heart attack, certain cancers, type 2 Diabetes and Parkinson’s disease. Just make sure your tea isn’t too sweet! Laughing is good for the heart and can increase blood flow by 20 percent. Exercise will give you more energy, even when you’re tired. Learning a new language or playing a musical instrument gives your brain a boost. Feeling stressed? Read. Getting lost in a book can lower levels of cortisol, or other unhealthy stress hormones, by 67 percent. Drinking coffee can reduce the risk of depression, especially in women. Yoga can boost your cognitive function and lowers stress.

Did You Know?

We are excited that we have added knitting

to our calendar. We are happy to introduce

Jennifer, a volunteer Knitting Teacher. She

is talented and patient. She will be here to

encourage you to continue to knit. She is

also looking forward taking on people who

would like to learn to knit or crochet.
