FOOD COLLECTION FOR CLOVERLEAF FOOD BANK – AUGUST

For the month of August we will be collecting COFFEE (Small Cans), TEA BAGS, and NON-DAIRY CREAMER for the Cloverleaf Food Bank at St. Elizabeth’s. We will ONLY be collecting these specific items during August. There is a box in the hallway between the cafeteria and church to put the items in. Thank you for your continued support. We are very thankful for the generous Parishioners at Nativity.

TOILETRY DRIVE HAS ENDED Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to distribute the toiletries to Appalachia this year so our toiletry drive has ended. We thank you for your support and we will donate the toiletries collected to date to a local shelter where they will be put to good use. Nativity Ladies of Charity

BUNDLES FOR BABIES In the Church Evangelizing Bishop Zubik calls us to share Christ's Love with others. To this end, our Ladies of Charity will be collecting NEW children's books for

teen moms at Jefferson Hospital. We will collect NEW children's books for moms to read to their babies along with NEW bibs which are not gender specific (can be for a boy or girl). Please drop your donation in the box in the back of Church. This will be an ongoing collection throughout the year.

WOMEN’S RETREAT The Nativity Parish Women’s Retreat will be held Friday-September 29 through Sunday, October 1 at St. Paul’s Retreat House on the South Side of

Pittsburgh. The weekend will consist of group conferences, prayer opportunities, Liturgy and quiet time. There will be time to enjoy each other’s company throughout the weekend and during meals. If you are unable to do the whole weekend, there are conferences on Saturday only. For more information call Betty Ann at 412-655-2641.
