PARKINGParking will be very busy on race morning. We encourage car pooling where ever possible. Please note when you arrive at the Park, park rangers will direct you where you need to Park.

COURSE MAP is downloadable from the website.

GEAR CHECKGear check will be located inside the Skating Rink on race morning. Tear off the tag on your bib and attach to the bag provided by the race.

ONLY CGI Race clear bags will be accepted at gear check. Please do not put valuables or liquids in your bag.

DESCRIPTIONThe relay consists of two five mile legs.

1st LEG- Start is at the P10 Start/ Finish line at the Festival Grounds at 8:00 AM.2nd LEG- At the five mile mark within Mercer County College. There will be a “Relay Corral” at the five mile mark. This is also finish for 1st leg. 1st leg runners will cross a timing mat as they enter the Relay Corral to register the finish time for their leg of the relay. 2nd leg runners will exit the corral at the opposite end and will cross a timing mat to record their start time.

TRANSPORTATION 2nd leg runners will be transported to the Relay Corral via shuttle busses. The shuttles will pick up directly outside the Skating Center at the Festival Grounds. Shuttles to the relay corral will leave at 7:45 SHARP. 1st leg runners DO NOT take the shuttle.

1st leg runners will take the shuttles from MCC to return to start/ finish. Return shuttles will be staged near the Relay Corral and will begin return operation at approximately 9am (or once first shuttle is full). The return shuttle will drop on the main park road in front of the Mercer County Park Tennis Center (adjacent to the Skating Center).

Return shuttles will run until 10:15am.

You may also drive to the relay corral. There is a parking lot right at the Relay Corral location.

BATON EXCHANGERelay runners will use a baton to hand off to their buddy. The 1st runner MUST be carrying the baton at all times. When the first runners enters the Relay Corral they will find their team mate (there will be overhead signs with corresponding BIB #s to assist in finding your team mates in the corral) and hand the baton to runner#2. Runner #2 will exit the Relay Corral at the opposite end and will cross the timing mat to start her time.

RESULTS AND AWARDSRelay awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall. The award time will be based on GUN TIME (the start of the race) and will be calculated based on the cumulative time from the official race start until the time the 2nd leg participant crosses finish.

There will also be times recorded and scored for each leg of the race. There will not be awards for the individual legs, only for the overall relay competition.

PERFECT 10 TEAM UP™We are thrilled to have tons of teams racing with us at the Perfect 10 Miler.

We ask all teams to communicate all race details to your teammates so they can have the best experience possible.

CGI Racing provided tentsIf CGI is providing your tent it will be at the start/finish line and labeled with your team name.

Team/Club TentIf you are bringing your own tent you may set it up on Saturday (10 – 4pm) or Sunday (prior to 7am) along the Start/Finish Line within the Finish Festival. You may drive your car to the location Saturday to drop off your items but no vehicles can be left in Festival Grounds.

Team Private Port A PottyIf your team was lucky enough to get your own private potty it will be reserved with your team name on it at the Start/Finish Line. All private potties will be grouped together in their own section.

Team Port A PottyThere will also be a group of potties reserved for use by all other teams who did not get an individual, private potty.

Team TransportationTo help ease race morning parking we encourage all teams to carpool whenever possible. Please arrive at the park prior to 7:00 am as the Park roads will close at 7:15 am.

PERSONAL COMMUNICATION PLANPrior to departing for the race, be sure to establish a communications plan with family and friends back home.

Share your bib number with them as HIPPA laws do not allow release of athlete names.

Share your estimated finish time – family and friends aren’t always familiar with finish times and this will help them to be at finish when they need to be.

Have a plan for contacting or reuniting with yourgroup following the race. Don’t choose “finish” 4,000 other runners are there too.

Medical Emergency – in the event of an medical emergency you will be either treated at the Medical Tent at the finish line or transported to the local hospital.

Friends and family can get any information on your whereabouts at the Command Center located at the Medical Tent.

Your Chip is located on your bib and must be worn at all times.

If the race starts at 8am what time should I arrive?The park roads close at 7:15 am then no one can come in or out of the park. Parking will be congested on race morning, 1) carpool when possible and 2) give yourself at least an extra :45 to get into the park.

Can I get a refund?We are sorry but there are no refunds, transfers or deferrals at this time.

How do I get my bib number?Go to the Perfect 10 website.

Can I switch to the BOSOM BUDDY RELAY?You may switch to the relay on site at the Pre Race Pampering Party.

How does the relay work?See Page 6 for relay details.

Can a friend pick up my packet?Yes with a copy of your photo id.

Are there pacers?Yes they are in costume (fun).

Can I sell or give my bib to someone else?No. Please do not do this as it jeopardizes the safety of those racing.

Are skates, baby strollers, animals, allowed on the course?No they are not permitted. Please do not follow your runner on the course either.

Can I walk? Yes as long as you make the course cutoff time at 10:30am. If you do not you may finish but unsupported.
