Empowering people to attack poverty

in their life & community

Page 4: Attack Poverty 2014-2015 Annual Report

We have seen so much growth this year as we worked

diligently to cultivate the soil for human flourishing,

continually reminding people of their dignity as human

beings created in the image of God. That is the

foundation of what we do and who we are.

As Attack Poverty, we show up and expose assets in places

once labeled as deficient and offer a new lens though

which to view the world. We simply cultivate the

conditions where people can discover their God-given

capacities!

Through your faithful giving and our strategic programs,

our impact this year grew to reach almost 1,000 children,

over 600 adults, and countless families. Even more so, we

have more than doubled the number of volunteers with

over 2,200 people stepping up to serve!

We’ve had so many exciting milestones as an organization

this year! We designed and launched our very own

internship program called the Community Development

Leadership Program with 4 college students, and we’re

excited for this Spring’s group of interns. We have also

created a sustainable growth strategy along with some

important organizational functional improvements.

Upon completing our fourth year as an organization, we

see God’s goodness carried out by you in four different

communities, and we are in awe of the beauty of this

work. This year you have joined us as agents of

restoration knowing and believing that Jesus restores all

things! Thank you for all you do for those bravely

breaking the cycle of generational poverty.

Together, we are partnering with God to restore hope

and healing to the broken places where poverty has

ruled for generations. But we are turning the tables;

we are pushing back; and we are confronting the lies

that poverty tells as we seek the peace and prosperity

for the cities God has called us to.

As we walk toward our milestone fifth year together, we

are deeply grateful to have you by our side as partners

in community development. I pray this report of hope

and transformation, in Jesus name, makes clear the

powerful role you play!

With gratitude,

Richard J Logan

Seek the peace and the prosper-ity of the city to which I carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers you

too will prosper.
