Reading Unit 1 week 3: How can a pet be an important friend? Genre: Realistic Fiction Comprehension strategy: Ask and Answer questions. Comprehension skill: Character, Setting, events Vocabulary strategy: context clues Phonics: 2 letter blends (r,s,t,l) Grammar: statements and questions Writing traits: word choice, opinion and capitalization Math This week we will reviewing odd and even, number bonds, and starting place value. We will continue with our rocket math, and strive to improve on math facts. I am working on getting our IXL license renewed, so until further word, we will doing xtra math for a math facts fun on the computer.
