It is up to parents to confirm that the contractors engaged are Working With Children Check (WWCC) compliant. August 2020 Welcome to Hot Shots Tennis News for Week 3 of Term 3 2020! We hope you are all keeping well. TERM 3 HOT SHOTS TENNIS Hot Shots Tennis is back and Term 3 is well under way with all the children improving and having fun! Term 3 2020 runs from Tuesday 21 July to Sunday 27 September 2020. Places are limited but there are a few spots left and it is not too late to enrol! We are offering Hot Shots classes at Cammeray Tennis Club before and after school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We also offer classes at Wheatleigh St Tennis Centre on Tuesday afternoons. Hot Shots classes are also available on Sunday morning. We are also very excited to be launching our Multisport program (part of the Cammeray Hot Shots Tennis program) with children improving their fundamental movement skills - Coordination, Balance, Strength, Endurance, Speed, and enjoying lots of fun activities. Additional COVID-19 procedures remain in place: The children from Anzac Park PS will be walked by the coaches from school (rather than using the Hot Shots Bus). Please let us know if you would rather drop off your child instead. The children from Cammeray PS will be transported by bus. Hand sanitiser will be provided at the tennis club. There will be no pizza on Friday afternoons in Term 3 (due to the COVID-19 restrictions). TALENT ID SQUADS Talent ID Squads are continuing for Orange and Green Ball players! Squads are in addition to the normal Hot Shots Tennis class and students are selected and invited to play by the Head Coach. Training takes place on Monday mornings (8-12 years) and Friday mornings (8-12 years). Bonjour! I’m so excited to announce that French can start back up again in the classroom “face to face” for Term 3! We will start in Week 1 all the way through to Week 10. Classes will be as before: Monday 8.30-9am for mixed ability class (K-6) Wednesday 8-8.30am for Intermediate class (Yr. 3-6) Wednesday 8.30-9am for Beginners class (K-2) There will some changes regarding drop off. I will meet the students at the Bellevue Street gate at the beginning of each class to accompany them into school and to our French class. It is still in 1C in the main building. Hands will be sanitised at the beginning and end of each class. Please be on time and at the gate for 8.30am on Mondays and Wednesday 8am for Intermediate and 8.30am for Beginners. If you are running late please text me on my mobile 0408483231. Students will be allowed to go into the playground straight after their French class. Japanese class in Term 3 2020 Dear parents, I have received news that Japanese after-school class will use at 1L classroom from Term 3 2020. In Term 3, Japanese classes will start again on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30pm-4: 30pm We will learn Japanese conversational skills including Greetings, self-introductions, shopping and restaurant vocabulary and more.

We will practice, sing Japanese song and have fun taking part in Japanese cultural activities such as ORIGAMI.
