As you might have seen already, we are in the process of changing the lights in the downstairs hallway and classrooms. Why? The current light fixtures are about 25 years old and the bulbs needed for them (tubular fluorescents) are no longer produced. Bill Bonds did a great job of stockpiling these bulbs; but at some point, we need to replace the fixtures. Eaton Lighng has approached us with an opportunity to be a test site for new light fixtures (extremely efficient LED). The cost to replace all the current fixtures downstairs would be around $45,000. Work- ing with Eaton Lighng, we only need to pay for the installaon which is about $9,500. Our goal is to raise this money outside of our operang budget. So I am ask- ing you to please consider donang to this project. We already have about 1/3 of the cost donated. Let me know if you have any quesons. General Prayer Requests

Thank the Lord that God answers all prayers. Yes, God is good—all the time.

We ask for your blessings on the new school year. Guide and nurture students as they begin their studies locally and away at college.

Watch over families as they experience dramatic changes due to health issues, relocation, and dealing with illness and addictions. May they draw closer to you and in harmony with each other as they navigate difficulties.

Strength and Healing We pray for those enduring painful conditions and

health issues. Samantha Dietrich and her family are in our pray-

ers. Peace and trust in our Lord’s healing care as they anticipate surgery to remove a cyst from her ear. May Sam’s recovery be quick and complete.

We pray for the continued recovery of baby Noah Stratton (spinal issues) and his cousin Noah Stratton (persistent cancer treatments).

We pray for those battling cancer: Mrs. Honey, Tinleigh Culver, Paul Gilbert, Rhonda Jones, Lois Sunderman, Noah Stratton, Nancy Collins, Brian, Amy, Diane Means, Rachel Marsh, Mary Clark, Geoff Oldham, and Luna Wasowski. Peace, tolerance to treatments, and strength for family, caregivers, and victims.

Those requiring long term care: Vivian Vehrs, Donna Clark, Mary Marchand, and Charles Stroud.

For Our Nation. Military Personnel and Families: Jeff Reeves, Nicholas Kirkland, Clay Kinkead, Katherine Mehaffie Kinkead, Dustin Ellis, Taylor Lee, Sean Blanchard, Tyler Styles, Benjamin Jones, Sebastian Jones, Alex Tovani, Jared Breeden

Walls, walls, and more walls! The new construction has walls!! Hopefully by the time you are reading this, ALL of the walls will be in. On the administrative portion of the new build, you can make out where the rooms will be: Pastor Mark’s office, Pastor Joel’s office, the Bible study room and the janitorial room. The Bible study room has numerous windows, offering us a beautiful wood-ed view. Can’t wait to see the cafeteria/fine arts rooms in the space off the gym. How great it will be for the band and chorus to have their own space.

As we Realize our dreams for these new rooms, please continue to

pray for our construction crew from McLeRoy Inc. while they work

in these high summer temperatures. Also remember to ask God

for brisk progress and quality workmanship!
