The VERSA Series is available in four different platforms VERSA 100, VERSA 1000, VERSA 2000, and VERSA 3000. Each platform provides appropriate liquid-handling capabilities for varying throughput and capacity demands.

This single-armed instrument features a specialized eight-channel DualHead module for quick and efficient liquid handling. This medium to high throughput liquid handling platform has a single arm with eight-channel liquid handling capabilities. The platform features a larger deck capacity and more robust pipetting protocols than VERSA 100.

Integration of bar-code readers and plate stackers to this platform can enable the power to handle large capacities and control highthroughput demands.

Featuring three independent robotic arms, this unit provides the highest level of automation and throughput capability.

Offers efficient aspirating and dispensing functions in nano-liter quantities, ranging between 30nL and 350µL. This module is ideal for generating parallel dilution series and performing array printing.

This dispense-only module is capable of delivering as many as four separate reagents through independent reagent reservoirs. This module is ideal for fast and reliable bulk dispensing of liquids in the range of 1µL to 1000µL.

With volumes in the range of 1µL to 5000µL, the SyringePipettecan handle a variety of liquid-handling requirements withexcellent accuracy and precision. A disposable tip changer is available. This module is ideal for sample preparation and transfer.

Consists of a unique combination of any two of the liquid handling modules. This single, or eight-channel module allows for nanoliter pipetting and bulk dispensingfrom a single head.

This cost effective semi-automated liquid handling platform can perform custom specific liquid-handling tasks for low to medium throughput applications. Its single X, Y and Z arm can be equipped with a single channel consisting of the DualHead liquid handling modules.

VERSA 100

Features two robotic arms: both for liquid handling, or one for liquid handling and the other for plate movements using a mechanized gripper.

VERSA 2000

VERSA 1000

The unit consists of two arms for liquid handling, and one for plate movement using a mechanized gripper. This platform has a largest deck capacity and can fully automate a variety of liquid handling applications.

The VERSA Series meet the highest requirements in positional accuracy and can process any generic labware, including 96 and 384 well micro plate formats (regular and deep-well), microfuge tubes, 5mL tubes, and others.

VERSAware is a powerful interface that features a drag-and-drop

method editor for liquid handling automation with a range of tools for creating and optimizing protocols.

Methods can be saved, edited, and rearranged. The most common liquid handling steps are preprogrammed into the system to allow for virtually push button automation. Additionally, software is included which allows for completely customized method and assay development.

This user-friendly windows software guides the user through both the robot set-up and precise liquid handling control with simple on-screen prompts and drop-down menus. Connection to a computer is via a single USB cable, making setup quick and easy.

From simple cost-effective semi-automated liquid handlers to fully automated 'walk-away' workstations, the VERSA series can automate a variety of liquid handling tasks in medium to high throughput environments.

The name VERSA originates from the versatility of our systems to accommodate specific needs of the end-users. If our current hardware configuration and software setup is not optimized to perform the task at hand, our team of automation specialists can customize your system;

• Through flexible hardware configurations• Through adjustments in throughput and capacity• By simulation of application specific software commands• By defining site test-acceptance procedures to ensure performance

Parallel vs Serial Dilution

Parallel dilution is a procedure/process using small volumes (nL) of compound or reagent to directly manufacture a dilution scheme without the need for intermediate dilutions.

By avoiding the need to create intermediate dilutionsto reach a final concentration, VERSA’s unique parallel dilution eliminates pipetting errors, reduces time and reagents while maintaining high accuracy and precision.
