GIPPSAERO'S GA10 PROJECT ON TRACK GippsAero has announced it is on schedule to deliver its first GA10 turboprop in 2013. Speaking at the AAvalon recently, the La Trobe-based GA aircraft manufacturer said developments of the new GA10

turboprop utility aircraft are proceeding swiftly and according to plan. The GA10 Turbo-prop is a whole new FAR 23 certified type, powered by a Rolls Royce 250 B17F2 engine. The GA10 will be a 10-seat aircraft based on the popularsuccessful both in Australia and overseas. The GA10 has been engineered to emulate the GA8 design as a low cost platform with added carrying and capacity and added potential for aircraft operators. The project is currently in the prototype design phase, and it is expected that tcfilter, STOL kit and auto pilot options will be developed concurrently. GippsAero expects to debut the GA10 at the 2013 Australian International Airshow ADACEL ANNOUNCES FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF RAAF TOWER SIMULATION SYSTEMS Adacel announced recently that the Company has successfully completed final acceptance for the MaxSim Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower simulator suite delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) SchThe program was a multi-million dollar acquisition by the RAAF of a suite of Adacel’s state-of-the-art ATC tower simulators to train RAAF Joint Battlefield Airspace Controllers (JBAC) at their ATC School in East Sale. The suite included two 360-degree and one 252-degree full immersion tower simulation systems plus six ATC tower individual task trainers with interchangeable site specific databases for various RAAF airfields. The successful completion of this project relied on cooperative and focused relationships between the Australian Defence Materiel Organization (DMO), Defence Support Group, Control and Adacel Technologies Ltd. The team was recognized at the Australian Defence Magazine(ADM) Congress Awards, winning the DMO/Industry Team of the Year Award for Excellence in the Minor Acquisition category.

A major feature of the extension is the high level of international participation: nine of the 28 participants are located outside Australia. The international business and research organisations will collaborate with Australian universities, thOrganisation (DSTO), as well as a range of smaller Australian businesses. Additional organisations will be invited to join the research program, so that all relevant organisations to industrial implementation can build the necessary skills within the program.
