The MIDA.control measuring- and control unit is a ready to plug 2-channel-system. It will be used for water treatment in private swimming pools. The controller measures the pH-value and the ORP and controls – in dependence of the desired values compared with the measured values – the dosing pump for pH and the dosing pump for disinfection. The pumps are mounted on the housing. Protection class IP 65.

The salt electrolysis is a natural disinfectant method that is based on the sea ecosystem. However, with a much lower salt content. The water treatment with the salt electrolysis process is an environmentally and skin-friendly alternative to conventional chlorine methods.
Sodium hypochlorite, a strong disinfectant which occurs during the electrolysis, destroys all microorganisms and ensures a sufficient amount of free chlorine in the pool. The active chlorine is constantly renewed by the salt electrolysis.
FUNCTIONALITY
The installation of the salt electrolysis is possible for new and existing pools of any size. Factors such as pool size, number of bathers and climatic conditions determine the required system.

MODEL VARIATIONS
HYDROLYSISThe hydrolysis (splitting of salt in oxygen and hydrogen) generates highly effective oxygen compounds with a perfect disinfection effect. To ensure a sanitary water condition even when the filter pump is not running, the salt electrolysis produces a small amount of chlorine. This combination requires a minimum quantity of chlorine because of a very low salt content (1,5 g/l) compared to normal salt electrolysis (3-5 g/l).
We don’t recommend salt electrolysis in combination with stainless steel AISI 316 because of corrosion. You can avoid corrosion by installing of a sacrificial anode, grounding of all mounting parts and the chloride content is max. 600 mg/l. Possible appearance of rust on surface should be cleaned and polished once time a year. No warranty is given at all. We don’t recommend salt electrolysis in combination with stainless steel AISI 304 at all.

MIDA.HydroMIDA.Hydro is a water treatment system AND a controller for swimming pools.Water treatment: The salt water electrolysis produces chlorine from a base of salt water of low salinity. The electrolysis cell attains a production of sodium hypochlorite (liquid chlorine) from 3g salt per liter. The chlorine combats and eliminates bacteria, virus, pathogenic agents and oxidizes organic matter present in the water. The used sodium hypochlorite reconverts into salt after a few hours. MIDA.OxiMIDA.Oxi is a water treatment system AND a controller for swimming pools. This water treatment combines electrolysis of low salinity with hydrolysis. With the electrolysis of low salinity we produce liquid chlorine from water which is very slightly salted (from 1.5 g of salt per liter). The hydrolysis produces disinfectants such as oxygen, peroxide, hydroxyls and ozone. All these oxidants attac and eliminate organic matter and pathogen in water. The used chlorine reconverts into salt, and the oxidants of the hydrolysis reconvert into water on its way back to the pool. The system controls centrally all the components of your pool, ensuring an efficient interaction.Controls all components, e.g.:• circulating pump • lights • backwash valve • jet-swim • heat pump • pool cover

MIDA.UV is a water treatment system AND a controller for swimming pools. This water treatment is a combination of oxidizing agents such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, OH, ozone and chlorine. These oxidants combat and eliminate pathogenic agents and organic matter present in the water. Additionally, the UV light of the system reinforces the process of disinfection. The necessary salinity for the process (1.5 g per liter) maintains a residual chlorine level which is imperceptible for eyes and skin. MIDA.HD for private pools
MIDA.HDHIDA.HD is a water treatment system AND a controller for swimming pools. This water treatment combines hydrolysis and ionization. With the hydrolysis system we produce active agents such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, OH, chlorine and ozone from fresh water with a slight charge of salt (around 1 g salt per liter). Like this, organic matter and pathogenic agents, present in the water, are oxidized and eliminated in the cell. As the water returns to the swimming pool the produced active agents reconvert into water and salt. The copper/silver (Cu/Ag) ionization flocculates the suspended particles, achieving exceptionally clear and transparent water as a result. In addition, the ionization reinforces the elimination of bacteria and algae. Already in 1878 it was discovered that sunlight has an antibacterial effect. Further investigation revealed that the germicidal effect does not run out from the visible light, but the invisible ultraviolet light in the wavelength range of 200-280 nanometers (nm).A popular accessory possibility of swimming pool water treatment is therefore the UV-C radiation without influencing the water quality (pH, oxygen content). The addition of water care products can thus be considerably reduced.The UV-C disinfection systems are integrated in the filter circuit of the swimming pool. The UV-C light destroys the cells and DNA from bacteria, viruses and microorganisms. WHAT IS AOP?The AOP process (Advanced Oxidation Process) com-bines the advantages of ozone and UV-C in one device. The combined use of ozone and UV-C light in water generates hydroxyl radicals (OH-). These radicals are a very effective remedy for chlorine-resistant microorga-nisms (like legionella bacteria and cryptosporidium), organic pollutants and by-products of cleaning such as chloramines, which are responsible for eye and skin irritation and the typical smell of chlorine.Since UV-C light destroys the residual ozone in the water, no de-ozonization device is required. AOP is a very effective and efficient method for the disinfection and disinfection of your pool. Therefore, the amount of chlorine in the pool can be kept to a minimum.

This revolutionary combination of ozone and UV-C (AOP) makes a pool with a minimal amount of chlorine possible! With this AOP Compact Ozone & UV-C unit on your pool system you´re able to keep your pool water fresh, crystal clear and especially hygienic clean. This device is able to reduce the chlorine concentration up to 50 - 80 %! You connect the AOP Compact Ozone & UV-C” in to your swimming pool system. Using a pump, the water is pumped after the filter into the unit through the supplied reactor. Because of the water pressure in the reactor, air is sucked through the Venturi system. Air is sucked into the unit via the air valve and flows through the area between the quartz glass and the AOP Compact Ozone & UV-C lamp. The lamp has a double function, producing ozone and UV-C light at the same time. Because air enters the unit via the lamp, ozone is generated by the special AOP Compact Ozone & UV-C lamp, which produces 0.6 grams of ozone. After it has passed the ball valve, the ozone enriched air is then mixed with water in the system. The oxidation and sterilisation take place here, and a powerful disinfection process is achieved. When ozone is used in combination with UV-C light in water, hydroxyl radicals (OH-) are created. These radicals are very effective against chlorine immune microorganisms (like Legionella bacteria and Cryptosporidium), organic pollutants and cleaning byproducts such as chloramines, responsible for eye and skin irritation and the typical chlorine smell.

UV-C DISINFECTION TECHNOLOGY TYPE EASY-UV
The Easy-UV devices are bacteriologically tested. If the installation instruction is followed closely, a disinfection degree between 75% and 91% can be reached. On the second day the 94% mark will already be obtained. Easy-UV devices disinfect the water through UV-C light and destroy chloramines. Bacteria, viruses, microalgae, fungi, parasites and other microorganisms will be destroyed. The unpleasant odor and the irritation of the mucus membranes in the nose, eyes, skin, and throat caused by the chloramines is absent. The water remains fresh, clean and clear and keeps its natural taste. Healthy minerals are not lost. Easy-UV devices save chemicals. You will save up to 50 % on chemical treatments and the aging of the building materials in and around the swimming pool slows down considerably. UV-C disinfection is compatible with all other forms of water treatment. Through the filter pump the device is easily connected to the water circuit.
