The Investiture Ceremony of Yadu Public School, Noida for the academic session 2017-18 was held on Dec 1st, 2017 in a special ceremony with lots of enthusiasm and gusto. It was conducted with high degree of sincerity and enthusiasm. The event was graced by Honourable Chief Guest, Colonel Anupam Jain.

The Investiture ceremony celebrates, leaders and the trust and confidence we repose in newly invested office bearers for the involvement of the students’ community in day today functioning of the school, since we believe in child centric approach. The students were nominated on the basis of discipline, academics and behavior, so that they can be role models to their fellow schoolmates. Our newly elected student council took an oath in front of the whole school to be true to their posts and duties assigned to them.

World Students Day (Conducted by Class X-A and X-B)

Special assembly was organized to celebrate birthday of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam. Students told about the former President A.P.J Abdul Kalam. A small skit was presented and biography based on the life of the former President was shown to students. The school focused on creating a positive environment in the assembly ground so that the students learn more about A.P.J Abdul Kalam.

A magic show was organized in the premises of Yadu Public School. The show was presented by famous magician Mr. Jitender Singh Babbar . He performed many tricks and illusion that made the children and teacher watch him in rapt attention and excitement. The magic ward and the interesting and distinctive style of magician kept everybody astounded .Children were much amazed by the chanting magic words GILLIGILLI used by the magician frequently .

Students of Yadu Public School and staff celebrated Dussehra. Various cultural programs were held in the school premises. The students and teachers performed dance drama to depict the history of Dusshera. Students wore colorful dresses. Students were told that Dusshera marks lord Rama’s victory over Ravanand to reinforce the message that good always triumph over evil, the effigy of Ravan was burnt along with which students burnt one evil habit.

One Nation Reading Program

Our School participated in a program conducted by scholastic throughout India. This program was organized in order to inculcate reading habit in the students.All Students together read a book of their choice for 30 minutes. This created a record in Limca Book. It was organized on 24th Nov, 2017.

Yadu public school Noida conducted a workshop on self defence for the students. We invited (S P City) Mr. Luv Kumar who gave self defence training to the students.The workshop was conducted due to increasing rate of mishappening in schools. The trainers taught students many self defence tricks and techniques to develop confidence in them. Discussion were done on safety measures to be taken at road, home, school ,public places and also while using internet. SP city also spoke on prevention of child abuse.

Diya Decoration

The celebration of Diwali, The festival of lights came alive at Yadu Public School, Noida on 16th Oct 2017 when the whole school wore a festive look with diyas. The assembly hall was lit with bright colors. Rangoli made by students added the perfect setting to the festivity. Students performed a small skit to show “Why we celebrate Diwali”. Entire program was presented by students of Class IIIrd to Vth.

Road Safety Week

Every year around 7000 to 10000 people die during road accidents due to inadequate knowledge of road safety. Our school believes that the students being the future of the nation should be trained to tackle and deal all social problems also. Under community outreach program, our students were trained for following all traffic rules and regulations. They were also motivated to conduct the workshop for the parents.

Mahatma Gandhi rightly said that cleanliness is next to God. Our dear Prime Minister has started program " swachh Bharat Abhiyan".Under the same program our NCC girls cadet motivated the people in society to keep their surroundings clean.

In-service Teachers Training ASL Training

The school is always prepared to equip its teachers with the latest and updated tools of education. Yadu Public School conducted workshop for English teachers. The program was organized to discuss precise way of grading a student to avoid under or over marking, the process by which a child should be made comfortable in a class room situation and testing environment. The teachers who took this training will be termed ASL trained teachers and authorized to conduct these tests within their school. It was indeed a learning experience for the teachers.

Yadu Public School gave us a great opportunity to the English teacher to attend the workshop at Hotel Radisson Blu where MR. NEERU JOSHI took workshop on how to motivate a child to speak English. Various teaching methodology and approaches were discussed. Teachers returned back with new approach towards teaching.

Anne-Frank Life-Skill Workshop

Our School teachers attended the workshop on “Life Skill” at Shiv Nadar School. Through different activities and group discussion teachers share their views and thoughts on the topics like legacy of Anne frank story, propaganda then & now, changes they want to inculcate in the school and in society. A lot of useful information was given about holistic development of children.

Excursions Bal Bhavan Visit Our school organized a trip to Bal Bhawan, Kotla Road Delhi on 31st October 2017 for the students of class III and IV . It isa place where doors o f learning through joy and fun openfor every student. One of the main attractions were mini train, exhibition gallery, woodwork, clay Modeling and fish aquarium. All students enjoyed a lot.

Venice Mall(V-VI)

Our school organized an excursion to Venice Mall for the students of class Vth and VIth. Venice Mall has a beautiful architecture and spread over large piece of land in Greater Noida. Gondola ride is a great fun and enjoyed a lot by the students. The another attraction for students was “The Magic 3D Sky”. The Students also enjoyed the delicious food in the decent food court and had a great time and fun.

Guru Dwara(Pre Primary) It is very important to understand that all religions in India is one and they believe in secularism. Thus, under community learning programs, students of the pre primary class were taken to Guru dwara on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
