SPECIAL ABBREVIATION:md = mitred decrease = sl 2 tog knitways, K1, p2sso.ssk = sl 2 separately and knitways, place left-hand needle into fronts of these 2 sts and knit them tog.

BLANKETUsing 3.25mm needles and C1, cast on 121 (241) sts.1st row: K1, ssk, K9, yon, * K1, yon, K10, md, K10, yon, rep from * to last 13 sts, K1, yon, K9, K2tog, K1.2nd row: Purl, noting to purl yon’s through back loop.Last 2 rows form patt.

Cont in patt until work measures 20cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row.Using C2, cont in patt until work measures 40cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row.

Using C3, cont in patt until work measures 60cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row.

Basinette size only:Repeat all three colours in patt until work measures 120cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row. All sizes: Cast off.

FINISHINGSew in all ends. If desired, block edges to ensure they sit flat.
