Layered with many talents, DJ Baby Yu is a prominent international DJ, an exclusive radio show host, and on the come up producer. Over the years of his career Baby Yu has been at the top of the nightclub scene in Toronto, spinning at a wide range of clubs, lounges and patios which caught the attention of promoters and club owners around the world.

In mid 2008, Baby Yu re-located to Atlanta, Georgia after receiving an o�er to be the resident DJ for the ultra-trendy Velvet Room. Since his move to Atlanta, Baby Yu has played at the Whiskey Park at the W Hotel, Tongue & Groove, Door 44, Aja Lounge, Opera, Primal, Compound, Aurum, Gold Room with So So Def CEO Jermaine Dupri and more. Currently Baby Yu spins at Tongue & Groove on Mondays. On Thursdays Baby Yu’s residency is at Vanquish Lounge with Kenny Burns, and on Friday he goes live on V-103 FM from 10-12AM at Reign Night Club, then �nishes o� at Vanquish Lounge from 12-3AM. The Residencies continue at the newly renovated Compound Night Club on Saturday while live to air on V-103 FM from 10-12AM, and �nishes o� at Reign Night Club from 12-3AM.

Along with his weekly club residencies- Baby Yu can be heard on Atlanta’s hottest radio station V-103 (WVEE- V103 FM “The Peoples Station”) Monday- Friday at 5:00PM on the Ryan Cameron show, 7AM on Friday's on the Frank & Wanda Morning Show, and Saturday’s from 12pm-1PM EST with his “Midday Motivation Reggae Mix Show”. On October 28, 2011, Baby Yu's mix caught the ear of two listeners in particular, Jay-Z & Kanye West. They were in Atlanta to kick o� their "Watch The Throne" tour. Both were impressed by Baby Yu's creativity, and knowledge of music that was conveyed through his mix (the mix was a Jay-Z & Kanye West tribute mix). Baby Yu left such an impression that Kanye West personally �ew him out to the 3rd date of the "Watch The Throne" tour to discuss ideas on how to improve the show's programming.

Making himself accessible to the masses, Baby Yu also maintains a highly successful podcast site which has 200,000 downloads per month to date. Adding to his satellite radio resume, Baby Yu also hosted Metro Mix on THE CITY XM 67 on XM Satellite Radio, The League Crew Radio, and Violator All-Star DJs Uncut Radio on Hip Hop Nation for Sirius Satellite Radio for 4 years respectively.

When he is not moving crowds in Atlanta’s hottest night spots, he’s on the road extensively through the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Embodying his moniker: “The Remix Kid” and being known for his original dub-plate mixes, Baby Yu is the leader and veteran in producing the hottest mixtapes hosted by the likes of Grammy Award winners such as Kanye West, Ludacris and many more!

DJ Baby Yu’s talents do not go un-recognized; in 2005 he was recruited to be the newest member of the Violator All-Star DJ’s: a dedicated and talented team started by Violator Management President Chris Lighty. In 2003 Baby Yu took home the Canadian Urban Pool Award for “Flavor Pool DJ of the Year” and at the 2007 Stylus DJ Awards he was awarded “Club DJ of the Year”. Recently at the 2008 Stylus DJ Awards Baby Yu won "Best Mixtape" award for his mash-up mixtape: Mashed Potatoes 2. These winnings are added to his other achievements including nominee for “Rookie of the Year” (2004) and “Best Canadian Mixtape DJ” (2006) for the internationally renowned Justo Mixtape Awards. Baby Yu’s talent has also led him to guest appear on many nation wide television and radio programs across Canada and the U.S, notably hosting “The DJ Baby Yu and MC RG Show” on two commercial stations in Toronto from 2002-2003 (FLOW 93.5 and KISS 92.5). Also appearing on national TV programs such as NBA XL, E-Talk Daily, MTV Canada, Much Music and more!

Top artists around the world have also noticed Baby Yu’s talent and have used his talents to leverage their performance while on the tour. Baby Yu has been the opening tour DJ for Juelz Santana, 112, Snoop Dogg, Sean Paul, The Game; and also has been the top pick to DJ concert after parties for for Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Fat Joe, Pharrell, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Akon, Chris Brown, Diddy, Rick Ross, Trey Songz, DJ Khaled, DJ Jazzy Je�, Cassie, Black Eyed Peas, Drake, Georges St- Pierre, Allen Iverson, Lebron James, and more.
