ACADEMIC/RESEARCH PLAN FOR 2011 – 12 Academic Plan 1) Update and develop new experiments for EEL 4433C RF and Microwaves Lab. Develop new graduate/undergraduate course on Numerical Techniques for Electromagnetics. 2) Offer Numerical Techniques course online. Continue developing my four current online classes. Develop High Frequency Amplifiers course for weekend program. Research Plan 2) Continue supervising current Ph.D. student and current Master’s student. Recruit two additional graduate students to support ongoing research. 3) Publish results of research on scattering from corrugated cylinders. Continue collaborating with S. Krijestorac on conference and journal publications. Continuing collaborating with P. Neelakanta on biomedical imaging. Continue ongoing work on Intermediate Electromagnetics text. 4) Finish proposal on Diagnosing and Enhancing Accuracy of MOM Calculations. Write proposal on scattering from corrugated bodies.
