Directions: 1. Cut out a long length of 14-gauge steel wire. Blow up different coloured balloons and tie them to the steel wire with fishing wire. Do this until the whole length of steel wire is covered in balloons. Bend the ends of the steel wire into loops so the balloons don’t slide off. 2. Using a balloon pump, blow up a few tube-shaped balloons. Add them between the round balloons by wrapping them around the steel wire and twist the ends to tie them in place, making the centipede legs. Secure the centipede body to the wall with strips of duct tape (or other type of fastener that will not damage the wall). Place the tape between balloons throughout the body, securing the steel wire to the wall. 4. Paint the centipede’s face onto the half of the foam ball. Hot glue some pipe cleaners to the back of the head and curl the ends to make antennas. Place strips of duct tape, rolled with the sticky side out, on the back of the head. Attach the head to the wall at the beginning of the centipede body. *Remember, these are only suggestions.
