Letter  of  recommendation  -­‐  John  Bartelt   May  03  2016  

Purchasing  an  airplane  can  be  an  overwhelming  experience  navigating  between  the  mechanical  and  avionics.  However,  the  brokerage  of  John  Bartelt  made  it  a  pleasant  experience.    From  the  start,  John  provided  all  necessary  information  about  the  airplane,  in  this  case,  a  1978  Piper  Turbo  lance  II.  John’s  expertise  in  the  brokerage  field  was  valuable  and  his  vast  knowledge  about  many  airplanes  was  very  helpful  as  he  was  able  to  answer  all  our  questions  about  administration,  mechanical  and  avionics,  and  choosing  the  right  aircraft  for  our  needs.  

John  always  answered  our  emails  and  calls  in  a  timely  manner,  if  not  immediately.    As  we  advanced  to  the  prebuy  inspection,  John  coordinated  between  the  seller,  the  mechanic  and  ourselves.  Post  prebuy,  John  handled  the  paperwork  very   efficiently.  We  knew  exactly  what  is  expected  of  us  following  a  “checklist”  resulting  in  the  whole  transaction  being  smooth  and  pain free,  and  left  us  very knowledgeable  about  the  process  and  the  specific  aircraft  we  purchased.  The  purchasing  process  was  well  organized  and  quick  with  Bartelt  acting  as  our  escrow.    

Dealing  with  Bartelt  Aviation  and  John  in  particular  was  a  pleasant  experience  and  we  would  definitely  look  for  Bartelt  Aviation  for  our  next  purchase.
