    Badminton Association (IBF)

    SCORING

     – The rally point system is used in scoring

    the badminton game which means, any

    fault committed by the serving or

    receiving team gains point.

    Types of Scoring

      Love – designates score of ero

      Love!"ll – is called when both opponents

    or teams have a score of ero

      #n $ide – is called for the serving player

    or team

      %ut $ide – is called for the receiving

    player or team  &ame 'oint – is the point that a server

    won which results to the server winning

    the match

    2 point scoring syste!• The Badminton 21 points scoring system started inthe Thomas / Uber Cup 2006.

    -A match consists of best of 3 games.-The side that rst scored 2 points sha!! "in.-The side "inning a ra!!y sha!! add point to its score.-#f a score becomes 20-20$ the side "hich scores 2
