Grade 3/4 Waterline Excursion Yesterday our Grade 3/4 students had an excursion to the waterline areas of Pioneer Bay, Corinella and Grantville to investigate the local indigenous vegetation, erosion and geology of the Waterline district. It proved to be a very interesting day. Lots of great photos. Thanks to the staff who organised the excursion and helped on the day.

Softball Competition In last week’s newsletter we mentioned we had teams competing in the district Softball competition. Well both our boys and girls teams won. Today our girls and boys Softball teams have played off in the Regional competition. The girls team have won and have earnt a place in the STATE FINALS. This is an amaz-ing achievement for a small school like BVPS and we are super proud of our girls skills and sportsmanship. Congratulations also to the boys softball team who have also played off at Division level today had a very close competition to lose by only 3 runs. Fantastic effort by both teams.

Already having the girls T-Ball team previously qualify

for STATE finals this year ( they play next week) Bass

Valley is certainly on a high with our sporting achieve-

ments. Congratulations and many accolades are certainly

well deserved by our amazing PE teacher Jon McCormick

    - his dedication, skills and training of children is just

outstanding. Well done Mr Mc !

This is a comment from one of our parents who watched the girls game ‘Was a great game to watch. Every single girl individually contributed something important and did a really top job. Great cohesive team effort. Congrats to all the girls, coaches and teachers.......and best of luck to the boys team ‘
