Renewal / Servicing / Replacement of Booster Pump Drive End Mechanical Seal

1 Taking of proper PTW and ensuring of all isolations.2 Allow the pump to cool down to 50 °C.3 Decoupling of the pump and check rotor freeness.

4 Disconnecting of associated water and oil pipelines.

5 Measuring of axial float with and without NDE side thrust pad

6 Removal of the coupling hub.

7 Removal of the DE bearing & Bearing housing.

8 Removal of the Mechanical seal.

9 Assembly of the new mechanical seal.

10 Assembly of the bearing & bearing housing.

11 Assembly of the coupling hub.

12 Measuring of axial float with and without NDE side thrust pad.

13 Alignment of Booster Pump and Motor

14 Coupling of the Booster Pump and Motor

15 Assembly of all dismantled piping.

16 Returning of PTW and take trail run of pump.
