IE3D Software

IE3D is a full-wave electromagnetic simulator based on the method of moments.

It has been widely used in the design of MICs, RFICs, patch antennas, wire antennas, and other RF/wireless antennas.

It can be used to calculate and plot the S parameters, VSWR, current distributions as well as the radiation patterns.

FR4 substrate

FR-4 (or FR4) is a grade designation assigned to glass-reinforced epoxy laminate sheets, tubes, rods and printed circuit boards (PCB). FR-4 is a composite material composed of woven fiberglass cloth with an epoxy resin binder that is flame resistant (self-extinguishing).

Relative permitivity = 4.8
