Step 1

Cut a 60cm piece of thread and pass the thread through one of the outside loops of a fl oral circle connector. Position the connector into the centre of the thread and wrap the thread through the loop in the connector 3-4 times. Place the ends of thread together and thread on approx. 38 x 8mm pearls.

Step 2

Wrap the ends of thread around the other fl oral circle connector, and then thread back up through the pearls. Tie a knot between two pearls to secure, thread the ends back through some pearls, and snip off any excess thread.

Step 3

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to add 3 long strands of different lengths. Basia has used 34 x 14mm pearls for the shortest strand, 113 x 8mm pearls for the middle strand and 58 x 12mm pearls for the longest strand.

Step 1

Take a piece of ribbon and fi nd the centre. Keeping a 4cm fl at piece in the centre, make 4 folds either side of this fl at section, and stitch each fold in to place.

Step 2

Place the Trinity Brass fi ligree into the middle of the fl at section and stitch through the holes around the edges to hold it in place. Sew a Swarovski bicone in the centre of the fl ower, then add one to each petal. Measure a piece of ribbon to suit your chosen size and add at least 2cm extra each side. Stitch on the ribbon and fi ligree centre piece, you can choose to have this off centre if you wish.

Step 3

Now take 2 art deco window pendants and snip off the loop inside each one with wire cutters. Place the ribbon through the hole and fold back on itself, stitching the end to the back of the bracelet. To fi nish, take the bar of a toggle clasp and attach to one art deco window pendant using an eyepin and jump ring.

Make it today! Here’s how…

Step 1

Using your hands gently bend a fl ower drop around a glass heart bead.Apply glue and leave to dry. Make two heart pieces in this way.Once the glue has dried, attach the two heart pieces together using a jump ring.

Step 2

Use eye pins to connect pearls and fi repolish beads to create thenecklace. Attach a bird connector to one side, and use jump rings to add a toggle clasp at the back. Leave the ends loose at the front,ready to connect the centrepiece.

Step 3

Add two jump rings to your top heart piece and attach to the main necklace. Add one jump ring to the bottom and attach an art deco window pendant. Attach a fi repolish bead to the centre of the pendant usinga headpin.

Step 1

Create a 16” necklace with 6mm crystals and size 11 seed beads using daisy chain stitch. Add a toggle clasp to either end.

Step 2

Using the daisy chain necklace as a base, work a small netted frill using a combination of pink and clear seed beads.

Step 3

Use pink seed beads to attach a rose quartz drop to the centre. Count out 4 crystals and add another rose quartz drop on either side. Find the centre point between two drops and starting here, add a pink seed bead loop that hangs just below the drop. Repeat around each of the drops.

Step 1

Take two 16” lengths of chain and attach to the clasp, making a basic chain necklace.

Step 2

Thread beads onto a long eyepin and make an eye at the other end to create a focal bead section. Repeat until you have 7 sections.

Step 3

Find the centre of the necklace and attach the top of the focal bead section to one chain and the bottom to the other. Working out from the centre, leave 6 links and add another focal bead section. Repeat either side until you have added all the focal beads.

Project:New Dimensions Necklace

Diffi culty rating: Beginner Technique: Linking

Step 1

Prepare 3 chains of different lengths. Take the choker and thread on a crimp tube. Position around 3cm from the end and crimp to secure. Thread on a 12mm acrylic pink pearl, the end of the longest chain, 3 more 12mm pink pearls, a crimp tube, the end of the medium length of chain, 2 20mm purple pearls, a crimp tube, the end of the shortest chain followed by a 25mm pink pearl and a 30mm purple pearl.

Step 2

With the last large bead as the centre, mirror step 1, picking up the loose ends of chain in the same places in the pattern as before to create the shape of the necklace. Don’t forget to crimp the last tube to keep the beads in place.

Step 3

Thread small sections of beading wire through different collections of acrylic beads. Attach these strung beads to the chains at random intervals.

MAKE IT TODAY! HERE’S HOW…STEP 1: Knot a 25cm piece of black elastic, and add glue to secure.

Tie on a 5cm piece of nylon thread and string a mix of 2 Swarovski Beads on to one end.

STEP 2: Hold the end of the nylon thread with tweezers and very carefully melt using a lighter. This will secure the Swarovski Beads. Repeat on the other end of the thread.

STEP 3: Continue attaching 5cm pieces of nylon thread and adding Swarovski Beads as in STEP 2 until you fi ll out the bracelet.

Step 1

Cut 3 lengths of thick black cord keeping the ends taped.Cut 2 lengths of thin grey cord and plait together.Wrap the ends with wire and place a cone over each end.

Step 2

Attach a toggle clasp at the end of the coneusing the wire.

Step 1

Open a large jump ring, attach a seed bead and close. Repeat until you have approx. 200 beaded jump rings.

Step 2

To create the main necklace, make 2 approx 8” (approx. 40 beaded jump rings) chain maille chains using basic European 1 in 4 weave with size variation (more details in book ‘Beaded Chain Maille Jewellery’ – BOOK67, available online). For the centre, make 2 x 5” chain maille sections, 2 x 3” sections and 2 x 2” sections.

Step 3

Attach a toggle clasp to the ends of the 2 x 8” chains and join together in the centre with one large jump ring. Attach a black obsidian diamond to this ring using an eyepin. Add one large jump ring to the bottom of the eyepin, and attach the 2 x 2” chain sections either side, then join up to the main necklace. Repeat this process, adding the larger chain sections as you get closer to the bottom. Using the centre bottom jump ring, add a teardrop pendant to fi nish.

MAKE IT TODAY! HERE’S HOW…STEP 1: Take a piece of wire and thread through the holes in the

Sew-on Stone. Finish with the ends pointing upwards andmake a loop either side. Take a second piece of wire andmake a loop at one end. Thread on 4 faceted round SwarovskiBeads, thread through the loop made with the Sew-on Stone,add 4 more Swarovski Beads and make another loop. Repeat onthe other side of the Sew-on Stone.

STEP 2: Make a coiled loop at one end of a piece of wire and thread throughthe loop at the end of the beaded wire section you made earlier. Thread on 10 Swarovski Beads and thread through the loop at the other side, starting to build a square around the Sew-on Stone. Finish with a coil and repeat on the other side.

STEP 3: Make beaded sections following the bead count on the CREATE YOUR STYLE with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS guide. Attach using the nylon cord, threading 2 Swarovski Beads between each wire beaded section. Thread back round to the centre and tie the thread off. Repeat the threading section on the other side, bringing the ring together.

Step 1

Begin with a piece of aluminium wire measuring approx. 50cm. Find the centre of the wire, and hold the middle of an eyepin to this centre point. Using the eyepin as a size guide, bend the wire either side just shorter than the length of the eyepin, creating a squared ‘U’ shape with the wire. This will be one end of your bangle. Discard the eyepin for now and roll your wire around a bottle to create a bangle shape.

Step 2

Now take your eyepin and thread on a mixture of fi repolish beads until itis almost full. Make a loop at the end of the eyepin, and thread on to your bangle base. Thread a seamless metal bead on to space out the beaded sections evenly, then add another beaded eyepin. Repeat this until you have beaded a bangle to your desired size.

Step 3

Leaving approx. 5cm, snip off any excess wire. Make a small loop in the wire and coil the ends in towards the bangle. To make sure you don’t mark the wire, use nylon jaw pliers or your hands to do this.
