Matthew 5:1-12• 1Seeing the crowds, he went up on the

mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. 2And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying: 3""Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. " 4""Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. " 5""Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. “

Matthew 5:1-12• 6""Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for

righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. " 7""Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. " 8""Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. " 9""Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. “

• A. Intentionally set apart time for God, so that you may see God.

• B. Prepare your heart to be soft clay and not hardened concrete.

• 10Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. 【 Ps 85:10 】 

• Steadfast love=ds,x, checed, =God’s love toward us.

• faithfulness=tm,a/ ‘emeth, =truth, “Amen”.• 6it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with

the truth. 【 1Cor 13:6 】

II. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.

• 13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15by abolishing the law of commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. 17And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. 18For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. (Eph 2:13~18)
