Sydney Symphony Orchestra presents a free global livestream of its Beethoven Nine concert,direct from the iconic Sydney Opera House.

We're proud to support the Sydney Symphony Orchestra to bring Beethoven’s most renowned and recognisablesymphony live across NSW from the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall!

Saturday 27 October, 2.45 pm — grab a group of friends and head to your local library.

Participating libraries include:

The concert will be broadcast live via watch.sydneysymphony.com [10]and on the Sydney Symphony Orchestra 's Facebook [11] page [11]. It will feature the second half of the concert, showcasing Beethoven’s choralsymphony, Symphony No.9, with its instantly recognisable “Ode to Joy” theme.

ABC Classic FM will broadcast the full concert audio to audiences in Australia and around the world. MargaretThrosby will present the Classic Live broadcast direct from the Sydney Opera House at 2pm.
