Bringing Agriculture to the Community” Watch for a wide variety of new information, animals, and focus on

agriculture all over the fairgrounds. From children games, a scavenger hunt, aquaponics growing, and hands on displays with a horse, mule, cow, goat, hog, rooster & sheep. New displays in the Big Barn, all around the

The Tennessee Technological University, College of

Agriculture is partnering with the Fair Board Team

to bring “Adventures in Agriculture” to the Community as never before at the 92nd Putnam County Fair.

Junior Fair Board Created -- Adventures in Agriculture Games for Children & Adults Who Like Games. Corn Pit with toys, tractors and stuffed animals – children dig thru the corn, finding toys & animals to mark off the checklist. Life Size Tic-Tac-Toe – X’s & O’s are replaced with the sounds of animals

to help children learn to recognize the sounds of different farm animals.Giant Jenga – to teach young people about Honey Bees and raise awareness that bees are threatened. Play Hopscotch, but not with numbers, with animal pictures & a fun fact or two about the animal.

NEW “Farmer for the Day” The Jr. Fair board presents an interactive series of exhibits, games and fun things for children of ages even adults. Experience farm animals close up and learn about how important farming and agriculture are to our lives. Located in the midst of our Petting Zoo in West Exhibit Hall.
