Ju s t

a

year ago

we

were under t remendous s t r e s s , t ry ing to dec ide whether

we

should go back to Laos r igh t away. We

weren ' t phys ica l ly , sp i r i t ua l l y ,

or emot ional ly ready

to go

back. We

stayed

and concent ra ted on ge t t i ng

closer

to

Chr i s t . As a r esu l t we have found peace with God, ourse lves , and

with each o the r . I am

doing well phys i ca l l y

now. I have

been

o ff

medicat ions for

months, s leep well, and feel good.

I feel

s t ronger

sp i r i t u a l l y than I have fo r years . We are now s t a r t ing to put out fee l e r s

for going

back overseas . We would l ike fo r you to be praying with us in

this matter

been

a

growing

in

many

ways. We

are

rea l ly

missing

our l i t t l e boy married. They met

Jop l in and Nathan

working

September

we

s t a r t ed going to another church. Fir Road Chris t ian .Church,

that had

asked me

to teach an adul t Sunday School c las s . I t has r ea l ly

been

a b. essiug

to

be

involved there as

i t has been another step

in

recovc^ry for

me

to see

God

using

me

where I

am y

prayer

is

that they,too,are being

ministered

to. I'm-

finding many

opportunities

at

my work, Wilhite Si^n

Company,

too,

as I get to know the men and their needs. I t ' s exciting

being the L ord 's Servan t, i s n ' t i t ?

I am really thankful

to

have been able to spend some time

with

my dad this

year.

We're

none

of

us

getting

any

younger.

I 've

gone

to

Muskogee

several

times

to help him work on an old house of his. He

bought

i t

for

800 when

he was a young man. We've done

just

about everything to

i t

you could

possibly do. Janet, Sarah,

Rachel,

and I, plus our daughter Becky and her

husband, Brian, went to

Dad

and

Dot's

for

Thanksgiving and spent three days

working on i t together. It was more fun

that going

hunting.
