The Howard Hughes Corporation, branded for its glitzy, posh-spot developments across the country, has taken pride in a small but gem size location on the northeastern shore of The Woodlands.

Hughes Landing, situated on the water, is a 66-acre mixed-use development comfortably tucked between Grogan’s Mill Rd. and Lake Woodlands Drive. Aside from the old, traditional styled, master-planned community, Hughes Landing cracks the door open to architectural freedom for The Woodlands - combining the luxuries of retail, commercial and residential space to one shared location. The feel is a lot like City Centre in Houston - Although on a smaller scale, Hughes Landing pouts high-end retail shops, elegant dining, upscale residences and office buildings.

This is the first community in The Woodlands where you can actually live, eat, shop and work - all within a few feet commute.

Unlike Market Street and The Woodlands Waterway, this development breaks the standard for The Woodlands’ philosophical architectural planning, even though still high-rise deprived – at least not yet in this community.

“Restaurant Row,” an area with a line-up of restaurants in a designated area, is not uncommon to cities across the country—and now, The Woodlands has its own at Hughes Landing. Situated along the water, each restaurant provides lakeside dining, an engaging view and cozy lounge areas for relaxation. California Pizza Kitchen, Del Frisco’s Grille, Escalante’s Fine Tex-Mex & Tequila and Local Pour are just some of the local hot spots that are currently open. Fogo de Chão, The Blue Fish and Truluck’s will be opening soon, along with The E’Terie at the new Embassy Suites Hotel by Hilton.

Garage Attire

Epoxy Flooring Epoxy flooring is the most sensible, durable and fashionable improvement for your garage. Varying in colors, you can change the overall appearance of any garage by adding this technique to your garage floor. It’s almost maintenance free, except for an occasional mop. Epoxy covers all cracks and imperfections and it’s hard to damage—even if you were to drop hard objects on it. In addition, when you sell your home, your garage will stand apart from the competition. The average application runs approximately $1600-$1800 for 650 sq. ft. or $2.40 per sq. ft.
