Introduction to EMV

• EMV is Europay, Mastercard and Visa (EMVCo) seen as the inevitable successor to PCI compliance. The migration is currently scheduled for October 1, 2020 for fuel dispensers.

• EMV Specifications for the U.S. are still being defined.

• Bennett has proactively developed a strategy for the implementation of EMV compliance. This strategy includes the option to retrofit some current model Bennett dispensers with EMV compliant components as may be required once the actual US specification is announced and mandated.
