Verizon Wireless MTS III System Engineer/Senior Programmer Analysis January, 2009 – December 2015

At Verizon my primary responsibility was to support Development and System Testing environments, requiring multi-tasking between environments and Development Life Cycle Phases. We primarily used the Waterfall method and in some cases Agile.

Coordinated, implemented and documented software configuration management (CM) and version control of COBOL programs, copybooks, stored procedures (DB2), and REXX Cellular Billing mainframe solution in Endevor as the code management software.

Supported multiple Cellular Billing applications that resided in Linux client/server environments using ACCUREV as the code management software. E.g. XML's, JAVA, JavaScript, stored procedures(Oracle)

Supported Release Management Coordinators in their efforts of keeping Releases on schedule, while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures

Leveraged existing knowledge and familiarity with industry standard tools used to deliver quality services to internal and external clients

Promoted effective analysis to determine root cause of application/product/services problems; utilize past experience and observations to resolve issues and drive creation of best practices

Ensured configuration management process documentation is accurate, concise and consistent and support information sharing, cross training and collaboration across the team

Executed effective decision-making, where analysis, deductive reasoning aid in supporting productive decisions based upon informed judgment

Deliver quality in everything you do and meet or exceed commitments with internal and external clients

Strived continuously to identify areas for increased efficiency, process improvements and support proactivity in delivering high quality results

Supported, modified, and executed REXX Tool in Development, and System Test environments. The REXX Tool updated symbolic for the various test environment.

Supported, modified and executed Job schedules via CA7
