Discounted Season PassesWe will be offering discounted season passes every day until April 1 and at special

Hello everyone! I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support of the Ber-Vaughn Pool! Our first summer was a HUGE success and we are already looking forward to a bigger and better 2017 season. I have spent the winter adding many new programs and events and am very proud of what is in store for the upcoming season. Please take some time to view all of these exciting activities coming to the pool this summer! Some of what I am most excited for is listed below: · First Annual Ber-Vaughn Pool Triathlon on July 22 · Expanded swim lessons · Bus transportation to and from the pool every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday · Flick N Float events on June 10, July 8, and August 5 · Doggy Dip on September 5 We are also involved with a wonderful program called Prime Time which is a year-round “after” school program hosted at Briar Creek Borough. Through this program 30 or more students participate in tutoring and fun activities. In the 2016 school year, Prime Time has helped 9 children make the honor roll in the Berwick School District! The Ber-Vaughn Pool supports this program by awarding participating children a free summer pass. If you would like to help sponsor children who may need help covering the summer pass expense, simply insert the word “sponsorship” in the memo line of your donation. This fund will be used to provide a deserving child or children with a season pass. Details and much more is included on the following pages. Please consider donating to the Ber-Vaughn Pool, it is through your continued support that we are able to expand our programming and offer essential services to Berwick and the surrounding communities. Participating municipalities: Berwick Borough, Salem Township, Briar Creek Borough

Swim Lessons: Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00-10:45 OR 6:00-6:45. Each session is 4 weeks long and costs $40. We will also have a Saturday class at 10:00 which will last for 8 Saturdays (all on calendar).

Water Aerobics: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 5:00-5:45. Cost is $50 and runs for 4 weeks on the same schedule as swim lessons.

Aqua Zumba: Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00-6:45. Cost is $48 and runs for 4 weeks on the same schedule as swim lessons and water aerobics (sessions are color coded on the calendars).

Special EventsApril 23: Pasta Dinner at the MA. Tickets are $10, runs from 12:00-3:00May 23-27: Ber-Vaughn Carnival June 10: Flick n Float with a family themed movie 7:00July 8: Flick n Float with an adult themed movie 7:00 (Jaws)July 22: Triathlon 8:00 amAugust 5: Flick n Float with a kid friendly movie 7:00September 5: Doggy Dip 5:00-7:00 (owners are free; each dog is $5.00)

**For Flick n Float: Maureen M. Kocher of Allstate is sponsoring Jaws in July but we still need sponsors for June and August movies. To purchase the rights to the movies it is $500, any organization/individual who sponsors (doesn’t have to be the whole $500) will have the opportunity to advertise their business and we will give credit to them with any publicity.

Pool PartiesWe offer public or private pool parties throughout the summer.Public parties are held during regular pool hours and host pays

$2.50 per person for anyone who attends. Private parties are held from 7:00-9:00 on any day of the week.

Pricing is based off of the number of swimmers: 1-25 ($175), 26-50 ($225), 51-75 ($275), 76+ (325)

Bus TransportationBus transportation to and from the pool will be available every

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 12 pm, 4 pm & 7 pmstarting Monday June 26th.

Pick up locations will be 14th Street Elementary, Orange Street Elementary, Salem Elementary, Nescopeck Elementary.

Cost is $1.00 a day round trip unlimited rides a day.Funded by Berwick Area United Way.
