INTRODUCTION

Using this extension you can show best selling products for your online store. Our extension

easy to setup and give many options for settings from admin. You can show best selling

products into home page within few minutes. You can show/hide price, add to cart button,

add to wish list from admin. You can set number of products per row from admin. You can

also set best selling products from particular time period in days. Example 7, 10, 30, 60 days

etc.

EXTENSION FEATURES

1. Enable/disable bestseller extension in frontend.

2. You can Show/hide and change heading in frontend from admin.

3. Set bestseller products on CMS pages, Category Pages and Product Pages using layout code.

4. You can display bestseller products auto, manually or both.

5. Option for display bestseller products in slider.

6. Option for auto scroll products in slider.

7. You can display only parent, only child or both product for bundle and configurable products.

8. You can set display number of best seller products in main block.

9. You can set display number of best seller products per row.

CONFIGURATION SETTINGS

Step-1

Go to admin → STORES → Configuration → MAGEBEES → Bestseller Products.

Step-2

Click on Settings Tab. You will get Following Screen.







Step-3

Click on Slider Settings Tab. You will get Following Screen.




SETTINGS: Enabled: You can able to enable or disable this module from choosing Yes/No.

Display heading in frontend: You can show/hide heading in frontend on choosing

Yes/No.

Heading: You can set your heading for Bestseller Products.

Bestseller Products: You can choose products types like auto, manually selected or

both.

Add Slider For Product: On choosing yes slider will be display for best selling products.

Display Bundle and Configurable Product: You can choose option for bundle and

configurable product whether you want to display child, parent or both products.

Note: If you have select “Only Child” then child product will be displayed only if child

is set as bestseller product. with “Only Parent” option vale, the parent product for

bundle and configurable product will be displayed only if parent is set as bestseller.

with “Both” option value, parent and child product will be displayed if both are set as

bestseller.

Number Of Items in Main Block: For set number of best selling products display in

the block.

Number Of Items per row in Main Block: For set number of best selling products per

row.

Products Per Page: You can set number of product per page using comma separated

value.(Ex. 9,15,30)

Time Period: Set days from current date for display best seller products.

Ex: If I set 5 in the time period then it will display best selling products which will be

sold in the last five days.

Display Product Price: On choosing yes product price display for best selling products.

Order Status: Display order status wise bestseller products. Applied only if

“bestseller products” field is set to “Auto” or “Both”.

Display Add to Compare: On choosing yes Add to compare link display for best

selling products.




Display Add to Wishlist: On choosing yes Add to Wishlist link display for best selling

products.

Display Add to Cart: On choosing yes Add to Cart button display for best selling

products.

Display Out of Stock Product: On choosing yes Out of Stock products display on best

selling products.

Note: Works only if Display Out of Stock Products is set to Yes from default catalog

configuration. Stores -> configuration -> Catalog -> Inventory -> Stock Options -> Display Out

of Stock Products -> Yes .

Auto Load Next Page: Select Yes for auto load next page content. This option depends on

our Ajax Infinite Scroll Pro Extension.

SLIDER SETTINGS: Auto scroll products: Select yes for auto scroll products in slider.

Show navigation arrow: On choosing yes navigation arrow will display in slider.




LAYOUT SETTINGS

Step-1

Go to admin → STORES → Configuration → MAGEBEES → Bestseller Products.

Step-2

Click on Default Package Code Tab. You will get Following Screen.




XML Code: Suppose you want to use XML Tag auto generated code of best seller

products copy XML Tag and put it in your Theme XML layout Files [app/

design/frontend/<Your package>/<Your theme>/<Your Module>/layout/].

For example we are putting XML Tag Block code in cms_index_index.xml file, so open

Your theme cms_index_index.xml file and put following code under content area.

Template Tag: If you want to display bestseller products in any CMS page.

Go to admin → CONTENT → Pages .It will display list of CMS pages.

It will display following screen.click on “Select ” link for CMS page.Then click on “Edit”.




After click on “Edit” it display following screen. Open Content tab and put highlighted code in

editor.




Call via Frontend Template File: If you want to display bestseller products in your

template file [.phtml] . You need to just paste this at any part of your template files.

For example we put Template file code in list.phtml file.




MANAGE BESTSELLER PRODUCTS

Auto:

Display best selling products automatically based on configuration.

Note: Make sure you selected Auto or Both option from Bestseller Products in configuration.

Manually:

Step-1

Go to admin → PRODUCTS → Inventory → MageBees Bestseller Products.

You will get the following screen.




Step-2

Click on button. You will get following screen.

Step-3

Choose products using select checkbox and click on button for

save data.

Note: Make sure you selected Manually or Both option from Bestseller Products in configuration.

Go to admin → STORES → Configuration → MAGEBEES → Bestseller Products

Configuration.

Choose “Yes” for Add Slider For Product Option .You can see following screen.




CREATE BEST SELLER PRODUCT WIDGET

1) Go to admin -> CONTENT ->Widgets. 2) Click on Add Widget Button 3) For the "Type" select "Magebees::Bestseller Products Widget". For the "Design Theme"

select "Your package/Your theme" and Click on Continue Button.

You will get Following Screen:

4) Set Storefront Properties for widget:

o Set Widget Title. (Ex- Bestseller Products) o Select the option for Assign to Store Views o Click on Add Layout Update Button. (Layout Updates Section) o For the "Display On" Select Your Choice Locations. Select "Container" .If you want to

display bestseller product on left or right sidebar then select "Container" "Sidebar Main OR Sidebar Additional".

You will get Following Screen.




5) Click on Widget Options Tab. (From left Navigations)

You will get Following Screen.







6) Save the widget after choose widget options.

NOTE: widget configuration setting only applicable on bestseller product grid template. slider settings and show/hide options settings in widget configuration not applicable for Bestseller Products Images and Names Template.




You can also add widget from editor using “Insert Widget”.




FAQS

Q-1: I have tried to install bestseller extension using terminal, but I am not able to install

using command line, what are steps for custom installation of bestseller extension??

NOTE: Please contact us for install our module in your store.

Q-2: I am getting error in console for magebeesBestseller.js not found ,How to solve this problem ?

Solution 1:

1. Go to admin -> SYSTEM-> Cache Management. You can see following screen.

2. Click on Flush JavaScript/Css Cache and Flush Static Files Cache Button

3. Refresh the page in Frontend.




Solution-2:

1) Open command prompt / terminal and change directory to your magento install directory.

2) Run following command :

php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy

rm -R pub/static/*

php bin/magento cache:flush

php bin/magento cache:clean




Q-3: How to manage manually bestseller products storewise?

Solution:

Go to admin → PRODUCTS → Inventory → MageBees Bestseller Products.

You will get the following Screen.

Click on “Add Bestseller Product” button .You will get following screen .You can select store

as shown in following screen, Then You can choose product using select checkbox. After

click on “Save Products” button for save data.




Q-4: I am not able to see child product for bundle and configurable product even if I have select the “Only Child” option value for “Display Bundle And Configurable Product” Configuration?

Solution:

The child product for bundle and configurable product will be displayed only if child product is set as bestseller. Check the visibility of child product in frontend.

Q-5: I have set Display Out of Stock Product to Yes still out of stock product is not display on frontend?

Solution:

If Display Out of Stock Products is set to Yes from default catalog configuration then it will work.

Check in Stores -> configuration -> Catalog -> Inventory -> Stock Options -> Display Out of Stock

Products -> Yes .
