in rememberance of Sh. Goverdhan Dass Seth.

Sh. Goverdhan Dass Seth (of Sargodha)(1904-27th Oct 1980)
As we commemorate the 32nd death anniversary of
our respected Shri Goverdhan Dass Seth, we also
salute him for his immaculate communication. He
was adored by everyone because of his loving
gestures and words.
Effective communication is a tool which interlocks all
the departments of an organization for better results.
It also helps in the organization's performance and
decision making.
We at G.D. Foods are determined to work on better
and effective communication skills to take the growth
rate further. In the first half of the financial year
2012-13, we achieved 38% of the goal set by the
C.M.D which is beyond expectation. At the same
time, our past experiences tell us that the second half
of the year is always better due to festive season. Let
us now work together with high spirits, optimism
and effective communication to achieve the set
targets and celebrate the victory.

The theme of this edition of 'Expressions' is
communication. As such the growth rate of sales in
any company is directly the outcome of the effective
communication within the company and with the
dealers and customers etc.
The sales & marketing department has to especially
gear up in the second half of 2012 to achieve the
target set by the CMD for the financial year 2012-13,
while soliciting cooperation from other departments
through effective and meaningful communication.
We must remember that communication and human
connection are the keys to personal and professional
growth.
Work has its own dignity and there is great
satisfaction on doing one's own job to the best one's
ability.
I am sure, we will be able to achieve the targets and
set new records.

Mr. P.C. Bagga is a 1972 batch Science Graduate
from Delhi University. He started his career in
sales and marketing in 1973 with 'Godfrey
Philips India Limited' and worked with the
organization for a long period of 27 years. He
successfully developed the Company's Business vertically and
horizontally throughout the Northern Region and
extensively travelled in all the States working at various
levels. During this period, he established distribution
network, opened many new areas with the result that sales
touched records high in these areas. As a reward of hard
work excellent performance, he was honoured with various
awards by the President of the Company and promoted year
after year. He was also awarded with 'Platinum scroll of
honor'. He is the only one from the sales team till date whose
profile has appeared in the annual report of GPI.
He joined M/s G.D. Foods Mfg (I) Pvt. Ltd. in 2002 as Vice
President (Sales & Marketing) and successfully achieved
unexpected growth during his tenure. He accepted all the
challenges and goals set by the higher management &
achieved them with commitment and dedication.
He also formulated new and innovative selling skills and
developed Sales Teams through training. At present he
continues to train & develop the sales staff at various levels.

TYPES OF COMMUNICATION TOPS – CHINESE IDLI
Ingredients: 8 Idlis, 4 tbsp Oil, 2 thinly Sliced Onion,
1 Cup thinly sliced Cabbage, 1 Cup thinly sliced Capsicum
(Red & Green), 1 tbsp Tops Soya Sauce, 1tbsp Tops Green
Chilli Sauce,1 tbsp Tops Vinegar, Salt to Taste, Black Peeper
to Taste
Method:
1. Cut the Idlis in to 4 equal parts and keep aside.
2. Heat the oil in a pan; add the onion and sauté till they turn
golden brown in colour.
3. Add the cabbage, capsicum, mix will and sauté for 5
minutes.
4. Add all the Tops Sauces and mix well and sauté for 1
minutes
5. Add the idlis, Salt and Black Pepper mix well and sauté for 2
more minutes.
6. Serve hot garnish with Spring Onion.

Think of the situation in the year 2023. A housewife is angry
with the maid as she did not turn up for a week. The housewife
very angrily asked her, “Why did you not come and you did not
even bother to inform”. Not perturbed, she replied in a very
causal manner,” why did you not check my face book status? I
did update my face-book account saying I am off to my village
for a week. Didi and Saheb even commented “Miss You”.
