Day 1 Singapore – Thimpu (L/D) Arrival Elevation 2.320m (Tip: Best to be sat at the left window for the best views prior landing)

Upon Arrival into Bhutan, a warm welcome by DTS representative. Your “First Bhutan Outing” journey will begin by visiting The National Museum, the house of ancient treasures of the kingdom.

A stopover for lunch at Paro town, after which, we will proceed to the capital city of Thimphu for moreexploration to Tachogang Temple & the Iron bridge built in 14th Century. Next, you will make your way to your hotel Peaceful Resort.Once you have settled in, you will continue your sightseeing adventures of Thimpu:Visiting Tashichodzong, the fortress, Changangkha temple, the oldest temple and witness

evening prayers of the monks.

Day 2 Tour of Thimpu (B/L/D) Elevation 2,320mAn early rise to witness how Bhutan Junior high students start off their school.

Followed by Group A will have a morning session with Asha Kama (Kama Wangdi) at Vast Bhutan. Group B shall take a relaxing stroll to Wangditse Goemba, and experience health and wellness at the

temple.Sight seeing journey will continue after lunch, which includes the Big Buddha Statue, Takin Reserve Park, a photo “Jumping Pose” at BBS Tower, and a stroll at Thimphu shops to do some shopping of Local Products.

After a delightful dinner, you will discover the “Local” Traditional Night Cultural Common Activity among the Bhutanese.

Day 3 Thimpu- Community Outreach & Outdoor Activities (B/L/D)Today’s main program: Give a “Helping Hand” to Vast Bhutan (NGO), Art Park project. Lets all take this opportunity to connect, share and contribute whichever way possible. Put on your gardening gloves, as it will be a “hands-on” activity. After lunch, you will experience the Centenary Farmers’ Market where villages from the valleys gather to sell their agriculture products. The rest of the day, you will leisurely cycle from South of Thimpu City toward the North, en route (into the woods) to Tango and Cheri Monasteries base: enjoying the lush scenery while ridding back to hotel for dinner. (If you are lucky, you may “bump” into His Majesty, the 4th King, cycling the same route as you.)“Curiosity killed the cat”: Explore and Discover the “Night Life” of Thimphu if you are not tired.

Day 4 Exploration to Punakha and Paro (B/L/D) Elevation 1,300M

After a hearty breakfast, prepare to head off to Dochula Pass, the 108 Stupas. Taking an essential drive onwards exploring the scenic Punakha Valley. After, you will head over to Chimi Lhakhang (The fertility temple); a temple that sits atop a picturesque hill surrounded by rice fields.Prepare for truly awesome landscapes featuring the 2 rivers also known as male & female rivers. Lunch will be ready at Chimi Lhakhang cafeteria.Enjoy the long scenic drive (4.5hrs), and proceed to Paro: Check-in to Tiger Nest Resort.

(There will be “Break” stopovers along the drive.) Tips: Bring your travel pillow, and some onboard entertainment readings & games to keep yourself occupied.

Day 5 Nestled into the Paro’s Rice Paddy Fields (B/L/D)

Today, you will embark your journey to Paro farmhouse to experience the culture and daily livelihoods of village life. You will be immersed in several activities such as making Bhutanese Cheese session, helping the farmer in their rice paddy fields, having a Fun game learning about Bhutan’s National Sport, Archery. Last but not least, sharing a feast of “organic cuisine” cooked by farmers and yourself, dining to be accompanied with Bhutan Cultural show. Tips: If the sky is clear, can you spot Tiger’s Nest up on hill?

A MUST lesson learn how to make your own Tsa Tsa (small stupas); to be “blessed” by the Monk: The small stupas you have made symbolizes “Blessings”, which you will have to place it in the Tiger’s Nest the following Day.

Tips: Special arrangements -- a photo session with the Monks at Sang Choekhor Monastery located at the top of the hill overlooking the lush landscape of Paro Valley. (The photo sessions will be before we proceed to the farmhouse.

You may like to send them a copy of the photograph when you return to Singapore…)

We recommend a good rest for the remained of the day.

Day 6 Hike up to The Tiger’s Nest (B/L/D) Elevation 2,280m

Depart the hotel in the early morning to the most renown famous temple in the Himlayan Buddhist. The Tiger’s Nest --Taktsang Monastery. Hike takes about 3 & half hours to Taktshang (Tiger’s lair)

Today, you will enjoy your lunch at the Taktshang Cafeteria where you get a spectacular view of Tiger’s Nest. After lunch, we will head on towards the Ruin of Drukgyel Dzong.

Tips: To rejuvenate oneself after a long hiking activity, you are encouraged to try the Bhutanese Stone Bath (US $12 per person on own account) for some relaxation.

Tonight’s dinner will be served in the hotel.Return to Tiger Nest’s Resort for your last night in Bhutan.

Reminder: To settle your own outstanding hotel bills, if any.

Day 7 Paro – Early Morning Departure

Airport Transfer have been arranged for your departure. We hope that you have made some friends, and bring back beautiful photos and memories of Bhutan to share with your friends.
