Bialowieza Forest
Bialowieza Forest near Narew is the largest nature reserve in Poland. It is located in Poland and Belarus. The centre of Bialowieza Forest is located in a small town - Bialowieza. This park is the oldest National
Park in Poland. Its highlight are bisons. When we are there we can see lots of different animal species (for example: lynxes, wolves, mooses,
deers, and many more…)
Kraków Krakow is located in southern Poland, in the central-northern part of the Małopolska province. The city lies on the Vistula River and its area are tributaries of the Vistula river mouth. It is one of the oldest Polish cities with over a thousand years of history, with many valuable architectural objects.Today it is the capital of the Małopolska province, as well as the central hub of metropolitan agglomeration of Cracow. The city serves as the administrative center, cultural, educational, scientific, economic, service and tourism. Krakow is the second after Warsaw largest market of modern office space in the country and also one of the key road and rail junctions in Poland.
NAREW
The village is situated on the Narew river. It’s a small village. Now in Narew there live about 1500 people. The history of Narew began in the Middle Ages. In the village tourists can see a lot of interesting sights. The Narew valley is ideal for canoeing and other attractions associated with the river. In the neighbourhood of the village there live a lot of interesting animals like: moose, boar, fox, hare. Because of unique natural values of the river Narew the valley is often called the Polish Amazonia. A large advantage of the Narew valley is the presence of protected species of mammals (beavers, otters).
The Land of Opened Shutters
The Land of Opened Shutters comprises three villages: Trzescianka,
Soce and Puchly. They are located in the valley of the Narew River. A characteristic thing of this area are traditionally decorated shutters.

The most important dates in Poland
• 11th November- Independence Day
In 1795 Poland disappeared from the world map and after 123 years of
seizure it regained independence. Poles were very happy and they didn't want to forget this event so they started celebrating
Independence Day.
• 3rd May- The Constitution Day In 1791 Poles passed the constitution in Warsaw.
• 1st November- All Saints' Day
We go to cemeteries and pray for the deceased.
• 26th May - Mother's Day
On this day we thank our mothers for everything. In school we
organize a special school play or performance for mothers. We give them red roses, presents or something they want to get.
• New Year’s Eve
In church we celebrate New Year’s Eve on the thirty first of
December, but in the Orthodox church we celebrate New Year’s Eve on the thirteenth of January. Then we watch the fireworks, drink
champagne and we celebrate all night.
• Women’s Day
We celebrate Women’s Day on the eight of March. On this day women get presents from men, usually boys or husbands.
• Valentine’s Day
We celebrate Valentine’s Day on the fourteenth of February. On this
special day boys give presents to girls and usually send cards.
• The First Day of Spring
We celebrate the First Day of Spring on the twenty first of March. We make a big Marzanna doll of branches, grass and old clothes. Then we
throw it into the river. We do it to say goodbye to the winter.
• Children’s Day
We celebrate Children’s Day on the first of June. On this day children get presents from their parents.
• Father’s Day
We celebrate this day on the twenty third of June. Then our dads get
presents from their children.
• Corpus christi
We celebrate Corpus Christi on the seventh of June. This is a religious celebration. On this day there is a procession in most cities and villages. Adults don't go to work and children don't go to school.
• Christmas Day
In church we celebrate Christmas on the twenty fourth, the twenty fifth and the twenty sixth of December, but in the Orthodox we
celebrate Christmas Day on the sixth, the seventh and the eight of January. Everybody get presents from Santa Claus. People decorate
Christmas trees alone or with kids.
• Holidays in Poland
During holidays we do different things in Poland. Sometimes we go for a walk. |Children in Poland usually play computer games or eat ice
creams . At the weekend we go to the forest, make a bonfire and eat sausages. In big cities like Warsaw children visit old monuments and buy souvenirs. If we have much free time we go to the river and swim all day. After that we sunbathe. Many children go to other countries
like Egypt. Many girls attend dance classes. So, holidays in Poland are great !!!

PRONAR tractors are based on global companies such as Mitsubishi, Iveco,Perkins, Deutz, ZF, Bosch, Carraro.PRONAR is also a leader in the production of agricultural and special trailers. The company has a Warehouse Motor Fuels and Oils, and a network of petrol stations. I am very happy that this company is located in Narew.
Sport in Poland In Poland, there is a growing number of sports, both amateur and professional. The most popular of these are athletics, football, volleyball, basketball, speedway , and handball. Ski jumping and Formula 1 are also popular because of the success of Polish sportsmen.
