Bible Reading Plan The Bible is such a big book that it scares a lot of people. They think they don’t know how to read it, where to start reading, or when to read. The amazing thing about the Bible is that it really doesn’t matter how you read it, when you read it, or where you start reading. The Table of Contents lists all the books of the Bible. Let’s say you want to find the Book of Luke. The Table of Contents tells you the starting page for Luke. If you’re looking for a specific passage, such as Romans 3:23, the number ‘3’ tells you the chapter and ‘23’ the verse. So open to the page number for the start of Romans, and then follow the headings at the top of the pages to find Romans 3. Scan down the page, and you’re there. Once you get the hang of it, it’s simple. Chapter and verse numbers were not in the original writings of the Bible, but were added later only as reference points. You can read the Bible anytime, anywhere, for any reason. You can start in the Old Testament or you can start in the New Testament. And you can read the same Bible stories again and again, and they never get old. How you read does not matter as much as getting started right away and reading from God’s Word often. If you’re looking for suggestions on where to start, I’d like to offer you a very basic six-week program that will introduce you to some of the most important passages of the Bible. This will be easy for you to accomplish, and you’ll find it a great help in capturing an overall understanding of what the Bible is all about. Check off days as you progress. As you might guess, we begin with the life and ministry of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. This, of course, is only an introduction to the Bible. I encourage you to read the Bible daily and pray that God will

Bible Reading Plan

The Bible is such a big book that it scares a lot of people.

I encourage you to read the Bible daily and pray that God will show you His truth for your life. As you respond to what God is saying to you, you’ll be amazed at the changes that will happen in your life. I trust that you will be blessed as you receive answers that satisfy the deepest longing of your heart and soul.

All God’s best to you as your study His word.

God Bless,
