Introduction of Village and Health Service
Binamare VDC is situated in the southern part, about 25 km far from district
headquarters of Baglung.
There are 9 wards and population more than 3,500 in this VDC.
The area is composed with various ethnic community inhabitants, such as,
Brahmins, Magars, Chettris, Sarkis, Damai, Newar, and other castes.
This community life is based on farming and livestock.
The sub-health post is the only health service institution for people in this area.
The current sub health post is situated in a building which is a part of a
secondary school and is in a ruined and poor condition, which is not at all
suitable to carry out the task of providing health care facilities.
In order to get out of this difficult situation to provide the health services to the
people, it was an urgent need to have a sub-health post building being
constructed in order to provide health services to the local community.
