Biography

Alex Borer is a Partner and Co-Head of Multi-Asset Solutions for LGT Capital Partners Ltd.

This team is responsible for multi-asset funds, sustainable equity funds (direct investments)

and institutional mandates.

Before joining the firm in 2005, he worked for LGT Bank from 1992 to 2001 as an Equity

Portfolio Manager and Head of Portfolio Management. After Mr Borer worked as a Partner at

Trinova Invest, he rejoined LGT in 2005 as Head of Investment Coordination in LGT Bank. He

joined LGT Capital Partners in 2007 as an Equity portfolio manager responsible for the Asia

and Japan region and co-responsible for the USA. In 2008, Mr Borer joined the Multi-Asset

Class portfolio management team, which he leads since 2010.

Mr Borer holds a federal diploma in banking and finance from Swiss Bankers Association and

is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
