Experimental Course in Biotechnology and Medicine Bioinformatics Workshop Organized by: Faculty of Medicine, University of Tsukuba Dates (Tentative): January 7-9, 2020 Venue: University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HCMC, Vietnam A practical training course for biomedical research scientists. Participants will learn how to use genomics databases and bioinformatics tools through hands-on experiences of Next-generation sequencing data analysis. This course also provides introduction to Linux shell scripting for constructing semi-automated data processing workflow. Student will construct their own project and make an oral presentation. Course will be conducted by Dr. Masafumi Muratani. The course is designed for graduate students and is open to students to Faculty, staff and students from University of Tsukuba partner institutes in the South East Asia. The deadline of application is December 10, 2019.
