What is BirthdayComp?BirthdayComp.com drives more customers to your business through birthday marketing. This is the homepage, where anyone with a birthday can sign up for free and find out about your promotion! 75% of our users are women between the ages of 25-55.

Users can sign in through facebook or with their email address. This is necessary in order to create their account. We require their name, birthday, gender, and location.

Online DirectoryOnce logged in, the customer sees all business within 20 miles of their zip code - in order from near to far. These businesses include hospitality, activity, retail and service industries.

Customers can browse these businesses by category and location, and learn about all the awesome nearby businesses that offer birthday promotions, and decide what they want to do during their birthday month. The customer can click to see a full description of the business and it’s birthday gift by clicking on the picture of the business that is of interest to them.

Your Listing

After learning about your business and its birthday promotion, the customer can decide to claim the gift for themselves or send it to a friend with an upcoming birthday using our social media platform.

On your BirthdayComp.com listing, it shows a graphic of your business and includes a write up explaining why it’s an awesome place to spend a birthday, or any day of the year for that matter. On this page, we also provide the customer with links to your website, facebook, twitter (or a review site like yelp and tripadvisor) to learn more. We can even include a video for them to watch.

Claim Gift or Send to a Friend!

TermsIt’s really important that you, the business, is excited every time a BirthdayComp party comes in. So here is where you get to list whatever terms are necessary to make sure you are comfortable with giving that gift away. You can decide if you want to make your gift valid on the birthday itself, birthday week or birthday month. Most of our businesses permit the gift to be valid all month to get the most number of potential customers in.

TwitterWhen the user clicks “Tweet”, it will share your gift on their Twitter account. They can write something extra in the Tweet box if they would like.

E-mail

When the user clicks on “Send by Email,” the user is prompted to put in their friend’s name and email and then sends your gift to them. 7 out of 10 people sent a gift through this platform, claim it!

Gift VoucherOnce a customer claims your business’ gift, they are automatically emailed a voucher (specific to that customer) for them to print. It is also stored in their BirthdayComp.com account if they prefer to show the voucher on their phone at the time of their party.

Business Notification

Your business receives an e-mail each time your gift has been claimed. This notification includes the customer’s name, birthday, what the gift is, and a unique gift code. This is so you can anticipate the arrival of this birthday customer generated by BirthdayComp.com

Business ApplicationThe business application gives you access to all your claimed gift information. This app can be downloaded for free on Android or iPhone devices.

Mark Gifts as UsedManagement can mark gifts as used by scanning the QR code, entering the unique gift code, or by viewing all claimed gifts of the current month by name (alphabetically).

Data Collection

After you have located the customer’s voucher, you can input how many were in the party, the amount they spent (minus the promotion), and ask the customer for their email. All this information is stored in your business dashboard so that you can quantify the results of your birthday promotion and continue to grow your customer list.
