SENIOR GIFT DINNER Because you have given so much of your time and efforts to our church over the many years, you are cordially invited to the Senior Gift Dinner on Wednesday, October 23 at 6:00 P.M.  The menu will

be Swedish meat balls  with all of the trimmings.  The program will be a

presentation by  Dave Harding about "The History of Game Shows."  The theme for the evening will be the Rock and Roll 50's. Again we thank you for your service to our church family and hope you will enjoy our 2019

Senior Gift Dinner.

BINGO Our next bingo is October 20 from 1-3 p.m. We are asking for donations of $25 gift certificates to use as prizes for our bingo event. This helps make our event profitable. Thank you for all you are able to do to make this a successful fundraiser for our scholarship.

SALT & LIGHT MEAL The next Salt & Light meal is Saturday, October 19 serving from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. These nutritious and delicious meals are free and open to the public.

TRUNK-OR-TREAT The area churches are sponsoring a trunk-or-treat at the high school parking lot Saturday, October 26 from 1-2 p.m. This is in addition to the Trick-or-Treat

night set aside by Canton To w n s h i p f o r S u n d a y afternoon, October 27, from 3-5 p.m.

If you are interested in helping with the couple of events our church will be participating in, such as the Christmas Program, please contact Pastor soon. You are required to c o m p l e t e a n a p p l i c a t i o n a n d background check in order to volunteer with the youth who are housed there and this process takes time.

WILDCAT BACKPACK PROGRAM You are invited to join the Coffee Klatch small group as they help pack the backpacks for the weekend food distribution on the fourth Tuesday morning of each month from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Canton South High School this school year. There are almost 300 packs that need to be prepared weekly. Your help from time to time would be greatly appreciated.

ALL SAINTS SUNDAY All Saints Sunday, November 3, is a day for remembering those saints of faith w h o h a v e j o i n e d t h e C h u r c h Triumphant. With the tolling of the bells and the lighting of candles we will remember them during our worship, especially Helen Bendure, Dina Maurer and Ellen Bailey whose names have been added to our memorial stone in the courtyard.

PASTOR’S ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY October 8 we celebrated the one year anniversary of Pa s t o r S c o t t ’s o p e n h e a r t surgery. We are grateful for the healing God is providing.
