2135 Series Earth AugersBlade-Type Boring Head Configurations
Blade-type boring head configurations offer excellent digging performance for small, hand-held type earth auger products when drilling through unconsolidated soil classifications such as loams, sands, soft clays and granular rubbles.
•25 mm (1 inch) diameter round auger drive connection
•9.5 mm (3⁄8 inch) diameter auger pin connection.
•Heavy-walled axle to better withstand bending and torque loads
•Heavy-gauged, helicoid-type flighting for added structural strength
•Flighting pitch set to minimize power required and to maximize the amount of loose soil removed from hole
•Field replaceable, alloy steel cutting teeth, hot forged and heat treated to extend service life
•Cutting blade side clearance extends out past the flighting to minimize wear and extend service life
•Field replaceable, alloy steel centering screw bit, heat treated to extend service life
The 2135 Blade-Type Series earth augers and auger extension are designed specifically for use with General 200 Series Hole Digging products and represent over five decades of auger design expertise and field experience. Available in 51 mm (2 inch) to 203 mm (8 inch) nominal diameters. Standard 760 mm (30 inch) effective auger digging length. The plain shaft-type auger extension can be used with all augers and increase the digging depth by 381 mm (15 inches).
