More Gratitude to Our BT Disciples

I have never heard so many positive comments

about our Holy Week and Easter liturgies as I did this

year. They don’t just happen. Take a look at what was

involved and who to thank next time you see them.

Thanks to Phil Devaty and Adam Dippel for

hanging the white banners; and to Phil and Chris

Malinowski for collecting wood for and making the

Easter vigil fire.

Thanks to Anne and Steve Suding for ironing altar

cloths, washing foot towels and buying basins. Thanks

to Mary Zavada for making chocolate crosses for the

nursing home residents. Thanks to those who cleaned

the church and to Mary Salomon and Francis Falloure

who cleaned up after every service putting away

hymnals, papers and leftover bulletins.

Thanks to Joan Francis and Mary Zavoda for

decorating the church. Thanks to the lectors who

prepared the vigil readings so well. And thanks to the

deacons who preached at the Holy Week services.

Thanks to Katie Corbett for running the power

point at the Good Friday ecumenical service.

Thanks to Mel of Mel Sound who spend Good

Friday driving to Stow and then coming here after

services to repair not one but two microphones that I

broke.

Thanks to Jessica Walsh-Frazier for manning the

lights at the vigil and her bff Brandon Peacock for

helping her see in the dark.

Thanks to all those who provided music, not just at

the services but for the many hours of practice that

they dedicated to make it happen.

Thanks to all of our altar servers, Valentina and

Ricky Santiago, Michael, Dominic and JJ Zarzycki-

Hall, Marie Musser, Kaitlyn McAvinue, and Alex

Fuentes.

Thanks to our music ministries. The choir members

were: Ann Marie Parker, Chris Hearns, Chris McAvinue, Lisa McAvinue, Caitlin McAvinue, Carol Masek, Carolyn Sesplankis, Dottie Schultz, Duane Abarca, Helena Hoogstraten, Jan Abarca, Joanna Somerville, Judy Beercheck, Margie Pavone, Michael Jeffries, Mike Reiling, Nancy Johnson, Pat Thacker, Rosemary Miller, Ernie

Hall, Louise Hall ….and the bell choir: Chuck Nusbaum, Johnny Werblak, Tom Heim, Chelli McKinley, Dennis Tyburski, Andy Holtzhauser, Jacki Capasso, Grace Samarin, Anna Nichols …and musicians: Jode Vickerman, Walt Zacharias, Jim McShane, Janet Dubas, Brian Baddour, Ralph Holtzhauser

qualify for a reduced registration fee of $15 each. Race information and registration forms are at the back table in church and at the rectory.

God willing, my mom will turn 100 on April 19th. Some

of you have asked for her address to send her a

card. What a nice thought! It is Mrs. Goldie Koesel,

9659 Mulberry Rd., Chesterland, Ohio, 44026. She

knows her memory is bad and feels bad when she re-

ceives a card from a person she is supposed to know, so

please idenfy yourself as a BT parishioner.!! Thank you.
