Homeless Shelters · Residential Programs · Addiction RecoveryFor Men and Women
Our mission is to provide Christ-centered programs and services for the homeless and those in need. We desire to see every man, woman, and child we serve equipped to be productive citizens who enjoy lasting success in Christ.
Founded in 1893 by three women who wanted to help the poor by providing food, shelter, and life-skills training, Wheeler Mission is the oldest continuously operating homeless services provider in the state of Indiana and is supported by private, tax-deductible donations.
We work in nine locations in Indianapolis and Bloomington. Our holistic services help those in our community who are struggling with homelessness and/or addiction by providing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual support. Our programs are designed to equip people for lifelong, independent living.
