Oh it says here gas prices havegone down.

TARANReally? I should get my tankfilled up.

BOBBYI should get my tank filled up too!

TARANYou dont have a car.

BOBBY(joking)

No Im talking about my actualtank.

TARAN(playing along with joke)

Oh, you mean the one you keep instorage?

BOBBYYeah Im thinking about breaking itout and filling it up for the first

time.

TARANWell Im excited to see your newtank!

Taran rushes over to Bobby and looks at the newspaper.

TARANCome on, Bobby! Not this week!

BOBBY

Rules are rules.

TARANAlright, alright. I just gotta...oh my God is that a black widowspider?

Bobby turns his head and Taran slaps his face with a pieceof paper that reads "CLEAN FRIDGE"

Is there a Clean Fridge Tag on myface?

TARANMake sure to really clean it. AlsoI think the mayo went bad. Laternerd!

Taran slaps Bobby again and runs off.

INT. APARTMENT - THE NEXT DAY

Taran is in the bathroom, brushing his teeth.

BOBBY(offscreen)

Taran is startled, then quickly runs into thebedroom. Bobby is shirtless and is holding a shrunkent-shirt that reads "BOBBY".

You shrunk my t-shirt!

TARANAh jeez, Bobby. Im sorry.

BOBBYThis is my special BOBBY shirt! Iwas supposed to wear ittoday! Tonys gonna be so pissed!

TARANRelax, Im sure hell understand.

BOBBYBut we were supposed to wearmatching shirts to the meetingtoday! Were pitching the newonline column!

TARANJust pick out a nice plaid shirt,they wont care.

BOBBYFine, but Im sure they will.

TARANHave I told you about the newemployee at Store Mart?

BOBBYYou mean Carol?

TARANYeah, Ive been hearing from theother employees that shes one toask a lot of favors.

Bobby walks into work wearing a plaid shirt. TONY, wearinga shirt that reads "And Tony!" approaches him.

TONYDude, what the hell? What happenedto the your Bobby shirt? We needto be looking professional for themeeting today!

BOBBYIm sorry man, there was a problemwith the laundry.

TONYWell now I just look silly.

Angie walks by and sees Tonys shirt.

TONYI swear by it. Its the best, ormy name isnt Andtony.

Tony walks away.

INT. STORE MART - SAME DAY

Taran is restocking t-shirts. Carol, approaches him.

TARAN(kind of uncomfortable)

Oh uh, hey Carol.

CAROLLovely day, isnt it?

TARANIt sure is a day, Carol. Yougettin the hang of things?

You know, I read about gas pricesdropping lately.

CAROLOh my God, I just remembered! Mycar is at the shop!

CAROLI gotta pick up my nephew fromschool today! I dont have my car

and I need to pick up my nephew!

TARAN...Do you need me to-

CAROLIf its not any trouble, could youpick up little Randy later today?

TARANSure. Thats what Im here for!

CAROL

Aww, youre just a cute lil helperarent you?

Carol hugs Taran.

TARANYep.

CAROLI think you and I are gonna besuper best buddies!

Bobby and Tony are working together at their desk. MARILYN,Bobby and Tonys boss, approaches them.

MARILYN

Hello, Bobby, Tony.

MARILYNI have a lil appointment I have toattend to so the meeting today willbe postponed to 6. Is that okay?

TONYYes, that is!

MARILYNOkay! Cant wait to see what youhave prepared for me!

Marilyn leaves.

TONYDid you hear that? Now we havetime to go to my guy!

BOBBYAre you sure?

TONYAbsolutely, but we gotta gonow. Ill drive.

BOBBYOkay, but we gotta stop by my placeto get the shirt.

TONYNo time! We gotta make theappointment in person.

Bobby and Tony enter a half lit laundry place with only afew other people. Tony approaches the desk.

TONYId like to make an emergency

appointment with Gene.

LAUNDRY CLERKYoure in luck, hes got one slotopen.

Tony sits next to Bobby in the weird foreign plastic chairs.

BOBBYOkay, so if we needed to hurry overwithout actually getting the shirt,then how are we gonna get theshirt?

TONYRelax, you can just call Taran andhell pick it up for us.

BOBBYTony, hes got a job. Like, a realjob. Not like what we do.

TONYOh hell be fine.

A phone rings on the desk. The laundry clerk picks it up.

LAUNDRY CLERKSecret Laundromat, this is Rhondaspeaking. Yes, we just put yoursocks in the dryer 10 minutes agoand they should be spot free in notime!

TONYOkay, thats definitely new.

GENE, a weird looking man in his mid 40s approaches the two.

GENETony, nice to see you again.

TONYHey Gene, hows it going? Whatswith the phones?

GENEOh that? We just got that lastweek. Its been doing wonders for

our business.

BOBBYOkay, can we cut with the chitchat?

GENEAhh, a new client, I see?

BOBBYYeah, I got a shirt that needs tobe unshrunken, but its not herewith me now.

GENENo worries, that part wont comeuntil later. For now, step intothe back. We need to have anintroduction meeting.

BOBBY(to Tony)

I thought wed be able to do thisin time!

TONYRelax, these things take tenminutes, tops.

BOBBYIf you say so.

Bobby and Tony follow Gene to the back, past all the eerielaundry machines and through a door marked "Private".

Tarans getting his keys from the locker. STUART, a fellowemployee, walks by.

TARAN

Oh hey, Stuart, can you tell DannyIm gonna step out for a bit?

STUARTWhat for?

TARANI need to take Carol to pick up hernephew.

STUARTReally?

TARANYeah, why?

STUARTNothin, its just, the other day Isaw Carol get Pete to promise hedwork 5 hours at a soup kitchen onSaturday.

TARANSo what? Petes a pushover.

STUART

Im just saying, be careful how farthese favors will go.

TARANOh relax! When I do this, shellowe me something!

STUARTThats kinda selfish.

Stuart walks away.

TARANOh yeah? Well at least I didnttake half a birthday cake with meeven though people wanted seconds!

Carol walks in.

Carol exits. Taran makes an exaggerated groan and exits aswell.

INT. TARANS CAR - LATER

Taran is driving his cool Toyota Tundra while Carol is in

the passenger seat. They stop by an elementary school.

CAROLI cant thank you enough for this!

TARANPlease, it was nothing.

RANDY, a little 10 year old kid, hops in the car.

RANDYHi Aunt Carol!

CAROLHi Randy Poopkins!

TARANAww thats a cute lil nickname forhim!

CAROL(suddenly serious)

Thats his actual last name.

TARANOh, well, how was your day, Randy?

RANDYIt was terrible! My dumb parentspacked me lousy turkey sandwichwith lite mayo!

Gene is still talking to Bobby.

GENEIt matters a lot! I need myclients to have a sound body and asound mind. He who surroundshimself with filth will filth hissurroundings until he becomesfilth.

Bobby takes out his phone and calls Taran.

Taran is on the phone with Bobby.

Hey guys, we need to make a quickpit stop at my house, then to alaundromat Ive never heard of.

CAROLIs this an emergency?

TARANApparently, it is.

RANDYI wanna go home!

TARANAnd well get home soon! We justgotta make a quick detour!

RANDYYoure not my real dad!

TARANThat is correct.

INT. APARTMENT - LATER

Taran, Carol, and Randy walk in. Taran goes straight forthe bedroom.

TARANAlright, Im gonna go look for theshirt, make yourself at home!

Carol and Randy go to the kitchen.

RANDYAunt Carol, Im hungry!

Gene, Bobby, and Tony are all just hanging around.

Bobby, Taran, Tony, Carol, and Marilyn are all cleaning upthe vomit while Randy is in the corner, drinkingwater. Its awkwardly quiet.

TARAN(to Bobby)

You know this is your fault, right?

BOBBY

Me?

TARANYeah, you! Not only did youencourage me to say yes to Carol,but you forgot to clean the fridge!

BOBBYAnd like youre the truevictim? You ruined my Bobby shirt!

TARANLike you cant get another?

BOBBYWhat I wanna know is why Carol hadto go through our fridge withoutpermission!

Everyone turns silent as they look to Randy.

This is where I get my laundrydone. Yes, this is the place thatkeeps my blazers vibrant andbeautiful. I know youve probablywondered how my clothes are sofresh and jubilant. Well, heresmy secret. That is all.
