HOW DO YOU DO IT ?Planometric views are mainly used to show building interiors (rooms) to give a pictorial impression of how the room looks. However, Planometric views can be drawn for any object.For rooms drawn in Planometric, always start with the floor area, this can be shown rotated to an angle of 30o/60o or 45o/45o as shown.

DRAW IN THE FLOOR AREAVery faintly, draw in the footprint of the furniture on the floor plan.

CREATE THE BASE UNITSProject vertical lines upwards from each corner of the units. Then draw in the tops of the units.

NOW DRAW THE WALLSProject vertical heights from the corners of the room.
