THE ESOTERIC SIDE OF CHRISTMAS

THE INNER WORLDS The sacred side of Christmas is different from the social celebration. The inner worlds of Christmas make it holy. The esoteric celebration happens deep inside you. Christmas is the rebirth of the Christ Consciousness within you. This blessed dispensation of new spirit happens every year for the whole planet. As we explore the esoteric side of Christmas, begin to think of the Christ as an internal aspect of yourself.

YOUR SPIRITUAL ANATOMY Your Christ Self is your Soul. Your Soul is the part of you that knows all that is—past, present and future; the part of you that has lived and died many times; the part of you that is all-wise and all-loving. Your Soul is your God spark, your personal piece of God. The voice of your Soul keeps you going through life’s tough times. Your Soul often speaks in a loving, maternal voice. “My Child,” “Dear One,” are commonly heard from your Soul. As your Divine Mother, your Soul nurtures, guides, and comforts you. She is non-judgmental, forgiving, and compassionate. Your Christ Self transcends time and space. Your Soul puts petty, ego concerns to rest. In spiritual anatomy, your Christ consciousness awakens at your fourth level of awareness—your heart chakra. Your Christ Self empowers at your fifth level—your throat chakra. The golden throne of your Soul anchors and resides in your heart. You can often feel the Christ Presence of your Soul as a sweetness in your heart. Your Soul is characterized by golden light. Notice when you see gold Light in the room. It may be your Soul, the Christ Presence.

PLANETARY HIERARCHY In addition to your personal, spiritual anatomy, the Christ also represents an office in the Planetary Spiritual Hierarchy. The Christ within you is the part of you that vibrates at the same frequency as the hierarchical Christ office. The Christ within you also vibrates at the same frequency as Jesus, the historical Christ. They all are one.

PLANETARY AND PERSONAL INITIATION Christmas is a time of planetary and personal initiation. It is a time of redemption and renewal. Your past is dying, creating space for a glorious new birth. There is a sacred ceremony that takes place in the inner worlds every Christmas Eve, consecrating the entire planet for the New Year. A portal opens to the holy dimensions making them accessible to all of us. You can actually experience the Angels at a cellular level. Information about The Sacred Procession does not come to a person until they are fairly evolved on their Spiritual Path. You must be ready to hear about it. Otherwise, you will not value the sacred worlds.

At Christmas, you are the Christ Child being reborn. Literally, know yourself as the Christ Child.

In addition, Emperor Constantine’s mother had a profound, personal visitation by Christ which converted her to Christianity. Helena was a devoted Christian. She financed the building program in the Holy Land to preserve the early Christian sacred sites, including the Holy Sepulcher where Jesus rose from the dead. She implored her son to become a Christian. He also had a holy revelation. On the eve of his battle against Emperor Maxentius to decide who would rule the Roman Empire, Emperor Constantine had a profound vision of a Christian cross. He heard the words “By this conquer.” Constantine had the image of the cross painted on his soldiers’ shields. Despite being out-numbered four to one, Constantine’s army triumphed. Constantine converted to Christianity and made it the favored religion of the Roman Empire, greatly popularizing Christianity and Christmas.

CHRISTMAS CUSTOMS The custom of gathering wreaths, evergreen, and mistletoe is a remnant of Druid influence from ancient England. Holly symbolizes Jesus’ crown of thorns. Martin Luther is credited with originating the domestic Christmas tree, symbolizing the birth of Christ and new life. Luther adapted an older, German custom of celebrating evergreen life in the midst of winter to fit Christianity. Christmas tree decorations symbolize fruit on the tree of life. The German custom of Christmas trees in the home was popularized in the mid 1800’s by Queen Victoria, in honor of her German husband, Prince Albert. There is a sense of death at this season, as the light withdraws in the northern hemisphere. To balance the darkness and provide vital force, Christmas brings together red and green. Ancient cultures associated the life force with red—the color of life blood; and green—the color of vegetation and life-giving food. Looking at red stimulates your blood. Looking at green vitalizes the chlorophyll and oxygen in your blood. Just meditating on red and green at this season renews you. Author David Wilcock reports, “In parts of eastern Siberia, a much different tradition was honored at Christmas. In these ancient villages, the tribal shaman or medicine man, would co-ordinate a celebration to mark an act of expanding consciousness. “During those times, it was a tradition for the shaman to venture out into the forest in search of the Amanita Muscaria mushrooms, found growing primarily under pine or evergreen trees. The shaman collected the mushrooms into a sack for the people of his village. The shaman was dressed in red and white clothing, sometimes with white fur around the collar, to symbolize the colors of the Amanita Muscaria mushroom.

“The people of his village lived in yurts, tent-like structures covered with reindeer skins. In winter, the entrance to the yurts became buried in deep snow. Of necessity, the shaman entered the home through the secondary entrance at the top of the roof—the smoke hole, the equivalent of a modern home’s chimney. “The shaman came bearing his gifts of the sacred Amanita Muscaria mushrooms, as if descending down from the heavens. Hence, the legend of Santa Claus entering the home by way of the chimney. “Once the shaman delivered his ‘presents’ to his villagers, the mushrooms were suspended from strings or stockings and hung to dry above the home fires or the fireplace. The shaman may have also placed them on the pine trees to dry in the sun, as he gathered them in the forest. Thus, our tradition of hanging stockings by the fireplace and placing brightly colored ornaments on the green Christmas tree.”

AMERICAN CHRISTMAS The secular celebration of Christmas began in America as a way to unite the nation after the Revolutionary War. Americans reinvented Christmas when the cleric Clement Moore wrote ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. He fashioned our modern concept of St. Nick riding the night sky in a sleigh pulled by reindeer. Earlier Santa’s were wild, drunken pagans or gnomes in a sleigh pulled by turkeys. Saint Nicholas (270-346 AD) was a real person and widely recognized as a Christian saint. He has origins in Greece around the third century AD. Saint Nicholas became well known as the patron saint of sailors, and most especially, of children. His popularity became widespread throughout Russia, and, most particularly, Siberia. It is purported that Saint Nicholas was

persecuted for his Christian faith by the brutal Roman Emperor Diocletian (284-305 AD). American retailers and Thomas Nast created today’s Christmas image of Santa and the custom of gift giving. In 1939, Robert May gave us Rudolph, the red nosed reindeer, to lure shoppers into New York City department stores.

OTHER CULTURES In addition to Christianity, many cultures throughout the world celebrate spiritual rebirth at the end of December, the darkest month. Historically, many societies acknowledge the winter solstice as a time of life’s renewal. In Egypt, at this time of year, Horus marries Isis. Cybele, Roman goddess of the moon, marries the earth. In ancient Greek culture, the sky god marries the earth goddess. Mithras, the sun god, is reborn to the Zoroastrians. Rebirth is in the air!

THE WINTER SOLSTICE

DARKEST TIME December 21st, or thereabouts, marks the winter solstice. Spiritually, psychologically, and physically, there are important reasons for the celebration of birth in the dark of winter. For the northern hemisphere, the winter solstice is the darkest time of year. It is the shortest day of the year. Due to the earth’s tilt away from the sun, it is the time when our hemisphere is at its greatest distance from the sun.

GENETIC MEMORY Let’s time-travel together for a moment. Imagine that you and I are living in a primal tribe, early in the history of humanity. In December, as the earth gets darker and colder, the days get shorter. We become vitally concerned for our survival. All we know is that the sun is disappearing. We don’t know if it will ever return. The cave is getting colder. Food is getting scarcer. We remember last winter when some of our group died from cold and starvation. We know the sun as the life-giver. We think, “What will happen to my life if the sun disappears?!” Early humans saw the sun as a god controlling food, hunting, warmth, and survival—life itself. To experience the sun going further and further away each day created panic. It was a difficult time of year. Neanderthals actually killed babies born in winter, because they threatened the group’s survival. Early humans thought, “What if the sun never comes back?!” To the primitive mind, without today’s almanacs and language, there was no guarantee the sun would return. Winter solstice was a time of fear, of death, and of abandonment by life. Light is life. Light is our connection to God, life, and home. Without Light we are lost on earth. Today, Halloween helps us to act-out and to release some of these seasonal fears, in preparation for the darkest season. However, we all carry deep, genetic coding of winter solstice as a time of dread.

PSYCHOLOGICAL DARKNESS In addition, the sun as life-giver is a parental archetype. Psychologically, winter solstice brings up our fears of parental abandonment. Christmas holidays and family reunions can trigger old childhood wounds, often deep buried and unconscious. There is more depression at Christmas holidays than any other time of year. There are more suicides at this time, as well. The orphan archetype emerges with its feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. “The Little Match Girl” story at Christmas enacts some of this orphan energy. We can feel out-of-control, rushed, overwhelmed, and anxious—as we struggle to find gifts; meet mailing deadlines; prepare to travel; and cope with calendar crunch. Often, we attempt to imitate outworn family standards and ideals of perfection that can feel like a prison. Rather than accepting time/energy limitations, we can crucify ourselves with brutal, internalized scripts of “the way it should be.” Misplaced duty abounds. The truth is, perfection does not exist on the earthly plane of duality! Perfectionism is a disease. At the winter solstice, the earth hangs in the balance between life and death. We are dealing with our own mortality and loss, unsure of the future. External darkness forces us to turn within, to bottom-out, and to face our personal dark side. As we fight our demons, dark questions arise. Will I run around the track of life for another year? Do I have the strength to face another year? Is life worth living? Am I willing to do what it takes to stay here and to grow?

Each of us wrestles, consciously or unconsciously, with these profound, seasonal questions in order to find our place in the sun and recommit to living. At this dark season, each of us has the opportunity to renew our subscription to life.

THE GRAND REVIEW In the Grand Review of the past year, we harvest our victories and challenges. We examine ourselves; unload the past; shovel-out false beliefs; forgive the unforgivable; and go to the bare bones of our reality. We find the gift of wisdom in painful events. We keep the positive and release the negative. We transmute darkness to Light.

SPIRITUAL TESTING TIME While the earth hangs in the balance of light and dark, winter solstice is a testing time. With Spiritual Initiations, there is often a test before you move through the actual Gateway into a new zone of living. Sometimes, there is second test during the Gateway Initiation itself. After you move through the Gateway of growth, there may be a third test to help you to integrate your new awareness in the earthly world. Often, the first test is between you and God. It may be an internal dialogue regarding your values or conscience. You may need to reassign meaning and value to parts of your life. There is an important internal, psychological, moral, or spiritual choice-point. In the second test, as events play-out based on your internal wrestlings, you may be tested externally. The third and last test is often between you and other people. In these outer events, you may have to “stand and deliver” your new self. Your new values and decisions then become tangible on the physical Rung of your God Ladder. Often these tests take place across the preceding year and culminate at the winter solstice. Your life changes at these important destiny points. Your identity shifts. You cycle-up and grow. Some call this evolution. This evolutionary window of opportunity opens both personally and for all humanity at the winter solstice.

DECEMBER 21ST

TRASH DAY Spiritually, think of December 21st as Trash Day. At winter solstice, as the darkness culminates, it is your last chance to throw out unwanted habits before the New Year begins. Whatever you don’t throw away can stay in the living-room of your inner world for another year. At the winter solstice, create a dumping list. If you don’t dump it, you live with it. Consciously, jettison unhealthy habits and false beliefs that limit you. Index the departments of your life. What is working? What is not? What false beliefs keep you stuck? What internal emotional scripts are outworn? How can you change or improve your situation? What classes and support groups can help you?

Even small changes can open a Gateway to greater change. Start with a single stepping-stone to your Gateway. Remember, the law that nature abhors a vacuum. You must replace each negative habit with a positive habit. For example, if you resolve to go on a diet, you must not only gradually eliminate unhealthy foods (fats, sugars, salts), but you must also incrementally introduce healthy replacements. Replace a negative, internal self-image by filling your mind with vivid pictures of yourself as slim and trim. When you see a slim body on TV, overlay that image with your own self. See, feel, and know yourself in that body. How does it feel to move across the room in your slim body? How does it feel to be light-weight enough to easily stoop? To effortlessly pick-up objects from the floor? Releasing outmoded beliefs creates space for a glorious new life. At the winter solstice, Angels of Purification help us to clear-out the past and to make room for a better future. If we do the spiritual work of winter solstice, by the time Christmas arrives “‘tis indeed the season to be jolly!” There is profound psychological and spiritual rebirth at winter solstice. The psychic weather ruthlessly works us over, helping us to revalue, renew, and rededicate our lives to God and to goodness. As the darkest day, December 21st marks the culmination of the long struggle between darkness and light that has intensified since the summer solstice. In the days following the winter solstice, the earth comes out of limbo. At last, the glorious sun god returns. The days grow longer and the life-force is restored.

MOTHER EARTH’S BIRTHDAY For Mother Earth, after the darkest day, the days slowly grow brighter. As the sun returns to earth, the days gradually lengthen. The longest day of the year is the summer solstice, around June 21st. At winter solstice, after hanging in the survival abyss with the darkening, to see the sun remount its strength is a profound time of spiritual rejoicing. That gratitude gets played-out at Christmas holidays. The solar return begins new life for Mother Earth, for nations, and for each of us, personally. What a consecration and rebirth! The birth of the Christ child is literally happening inside each of us. Winter solstice season is the pivotal turning-point from death into new life. It is the time when the sun is reborn giving earth another year of life. It is the earth’s birthday! The renewed sun is the candle on earth’s birthday cake! The rebirth of the sun is the Light of hope inside each of us. It is the Christ Self within you and the beginning of your new annual cycle.

THE KINDEL ANGELS On your birthday, each year a special Kindel Angel does a Grand Review of your preceding year. He assesses your karma, Soul Contract, and learning. Preparing your life-graph for the year, he examines your challenges, failures, growth, and victories. Then, he imprints your achievements and unlearned lessons in the Akashic Records, thereby changing your future karma. On the winter solstice, a similar life-assessment is made for the planet. Not only individuals, but also nations receive their Grand Review. The Kindel Angels anchor the threads of karma at this important choice-point—both personally and globally. The nature of duality and free will that bless this sweet, blue-marble planet empower each of us to choose a better future.

THE SACRED MARRIAGE

SOLAR RETURN With the release of what is not working and the return of the sun, there is the renewal of earth’s Birthday. Because of the sun’s return, at this amazing time of year, there is a profound, sacred marriage that takes place inside your body. All the life-carrying meridians in your body shift, when the sun returns to earth. They reverse directions the same way that sap rises in the Green World during springtime. Instead of going down into the earth, the meridians bring kundalini—your sacred fire—up your spine from the center of Mother Earth to marry Sky Father in your crown chakra.

Technically, the marriage of Sky Father and Earth Mother takes place inside your body with every inhale and every exhale throughout the year. However, at the winter solstice, there is an added spiritual force, due to the planetary rebirth.

THE MARRIAGE OF SKY FATHER AND EARTH MOTHER This sacred marriage of Sky Father and Earth Mother—the planetary male and female—happens inside everyone in the northern hemisphere at the winter solstice season. These planetary energies continue building until their peak at the summer solstice. Then, in June the divine-marriage energies begin to dissipate, until the following winter-solstice rebirth. The planetary male and female principles marry only once a year at the winter solstice. This sacred union is experienced by all humanity unconsciously and by Light Workers with conscious awareness. The purification, disciplines, and trainings of the preceding year contribute to the divine marriage within each Light Worker. Your vital spiritual force—your kundalini—is stored at the base of your spine in your root chakra. With the marriage of Sky Father and Earth Mother, the annual, kundalini earth-release from the base of your spine travels up your spine. It moves up through all your chakras cleansing and enlivening them. With kundalini rising, the energies of your root and crown chakras merge. Your pineal (male) and pituitary (female) glands are stimulated. When the kundalini reaches your crown chakra, your God connection activates. The sacred marriage of your internal male and female begins.

YOUR PHYSICAL LOCATION To locate where this divine marriage happens in your body, find the intersection of the horizontal and vertical axes through the center of your head. This point identifies the two lobes of your thalamus gland. Slightly behind and below is your Cave of Being, or pineal gland—the physical counterpart of your crown chakra.

YOUR PINEAL GLAND The pineal is a cone-shaped gland. It is shaped much like the numerous cones or spirals on Buddha statues representing the thousand-petal lotus of his open crown chakra. The pineal converts nerve signals from your peripheral nervous system into hormone signals. Situated between cerebral hemispheres, the pineal integrates your earthly information systems with superconscious realms. Your connection to God Source resides in your crown chakra. Your pineal gland is its physical anchor. This is where you meet the Fertile Void, the formless, unconstructed matrix out of which all form emerges. This is where you interface directly with the infinite, eternal Universal God.

Your crown is the chakra of your ultimate spiritual juice and spiritual aliveness. It is your infinite supply, resource, and intelligence. Your God Source is the 7th Rung on your God Ladder. Your pineal gland is the male spiritual-principle. It is reborn once a year on the winter solstice. The marriage of your root and crown chakras activates the Divine White Fire of your Universal God Source.

YOUR PITUITARY GLAND Your female spiritual-principle resides in your pituitary gland. Your pituitary is the master gland controlling your hormones. Sitting behind your eyes, your pituitary is located lower than and forward from your pineal gland. Your pituitary represents the 6th Rung of your God Ladder consciousness. Your God Self anchors here with all your Personal God concepts. Who you think God is changes as you grow. For example, the Personal God of the two-year old is not the same as the teenager’s God, nor the God of midlife, nor the God of senior years when you are preparing to die. When your identity focalizes on the 6th Rung, it stimulates your 7th Rung crown chakra. With the comingling of your pituitary and pineal gland, your Third Eye opens.

KUNDALINI RISING As your kundalini rises at the winter solstice, your pituitary (female) is activated. It in turn blends its energies with your pineal (male). All this marrying, of personal and superconscious, planetary energies, opens your highest chakra. When your thousand-petal crown chakra opens, there is a glorious, divine indwelling. A resplendent, spiritual rebirth happens inside you as your 7th Rung God Source enlivens. A Gateway unfolds between you and God. Access to your own higher side becomes easier. It is the perfect time in the annual cycle for new resolutions and rededication of your life to a higher principle. When the pituitary and pineal energies merge, there is a special dispensation of Sacred Dew. This Sacred Dew consecrates the Light Worker for the year ahead.

THE DIVINE REALM All this happens in the upper Rungs of your God Ladder. The upper Rungs are your divine realm. They extend far beyond your earthly realm of duality: hot/cold; summer/ winter; male/female; yours/mine; war/peace. In the divine realm, you enter worlds where there is no time or space. This is the zone of eternity, infinity, perfection. You can directly access limitless supply, intelligence, energy, resource, and renewal. In this non-dualized realm, you experience oneness.

THE SACRED LOVE DEW The sacred marriage of the pituitary and the pineal within Spiritual Initiates creates the Sacred Love Dew, a spiritual food or elixir. The Sacred Dew is an electric-silk sheen throughout your body. Its vibration aligns you with God. Sacred Dew precipitates to spiritual seekers on December 21st. It is distributed to the rest of the world on Christmas Eve when Angels disperse this holy radiance to humanity through The Sacred Procession at midnight. During the holy week following Christmas, sacred energies continue to anchor on earth. They set the energy template for the following six months. Just as after good sex, you feel reborn and healed, the sacred marriage renews all the chakras and atoms of your body. The Sacred Dew enlivens each of your seven chakras, including:

• Your 1st chakra. Your root chakra at the base of your spine; representing your physical body, your security, safety, and survival energy. The first Rung of your God Ladder.

• Your 2nd chakra. In the center of your abdomen; representing your emotional body, your appetites for food, life, movies, books, travel, God, etc. The second Rung of your God Ladder.

• Your 3rd chakra. At your solar plexus, representing your mental body, ego identity, and power in the world. The third Rung of your God Ladder.

• Your 4th chakra. Your heart; representing your psychic/intuitional body, your love, forgiveness, compassion, wisdom, unity consciousness, and your Soul’s receptive principle. Your Christ Self anchors here. The fourth Rung of your God Ladder.

• Your 5th chakra. Your throat; representing your Soul’s active principle, your creativity, abundance, manifestation, and the power of your word. The fifth Rung of your God Ladder.

• Your 6th chakra. Your pituitary gland; representing your God Self, your ability to transcend time and space, space/time travel, far memory, and detachment. Your Personal God concepts reside here. Your Third Eye opens here. The sixth Rung of your God Ladder.

• Your 7th chakra. Your pineal gland; representing your connection with God Source, infinite and eternal resource, energy, supply, and intelligence. Your crown chakra opens here. The seventh Rung of your God Ladder.

For Spiritual Initiates, on the winter solstice, all of these chakras are bathed in a radiant, electric-white Light that blesses and renews you. This is repeated for all of humanity at The Sacred Procession on Christmas Eve.

MALE/FEMALE CYCLES At winter solstice season, the male energy in the pineal requires the female energy in the pituitary to activate its divine-power. In terms of the planet, the male energy must be preserved, accumulated, and activated only once during the yearly divine cycle. By contrast, the female divine-power activates thirteen times a year, purifying monthly with the new moon. Similar to the annual winter solstice, the new moon is the darkest time of the month. It is a turning point after which light begins returning to the planet. Like the winter solstice, spiritually, each new moon is your monthly Trash Day. It is a time to clear out unwanted habits and rededicate to the Light. You can reassess, evaluate, and decide where your next step is on the Spiritual Path. Plant your seed of intention for change at each new moon and on the winter solstice.

PSYCHIC SURFING As a Spiritual Light Worker, it is important to know how to surf the psychic weather. Follow the cycles of light and dark on the planet. Light is the life-giver. Esoterically, Light connects us with the God Source. Light is a vibratory highway showing the way Home. Without Light, we flounder in our human ignorance. Light activates the life force and the spiritual force within us.

ANGEL WAVES

DIVINE LIGHT MESSENGERS Angels are messengers of Light. They come to balance the darkest time of the year. Angel season begins in September with the fall equinox and Michaelmas, the annual angel festival. Angel activity builds to a peak on Christmas Eve with the Sacred Angel Procession. Then, there is a final consecration on New Year’s Eve. As the external sun dwindles with the winter solstice, the inner Light amplifies through the work of the Angels. This is angel season. Archangel Michael is more active during the earth’s dark cycle than any other time of year. Michael is the warrior/protector angel. He eats nails for breakfast and is not

afraid to fight evil. The movie, Michael, with John Travolta, is surprisingly accurate in this regard. As humans confront the dark side, Archangel Michael uses his sword of Truth to penetrate the veil of illusion. He removes the bands of forgetfulness. He awakens our memory of divine law. Sometimes, Archangel Michael works with people during sleep when their critical mind is quiet. Then, they can see universal truths more easily. You might notice him in your dreams at this season. Look for his shining sword. That is his signature.

THE VEIL THINS As external darkness increases, the barrier between the inner and outer worlds grows thin, allowing humans to accelerate their spiritual growth. Giant waves of Angels infuse the earth at Michaelmas, winter solstice, midnight Christmas Eve, and midnight New Year’s Eve. They distribute the Sacred Love Dew that began with the winter solstice. The Sacred Dew facilitates planetary spiritual growth. Have you ever noticed, when you wake up Christmas morning, there is a white sheen covering everything? Everything is made new. This is the Sacred Love Dew that the Angels precipitate from The Sacred Procession on Christmas Eve. In preparation for The Sacred Procession, fleets of Angels are sent to purify earth’s energy field, starting six weeks before Christmas. They remove debris from the human aura and the earth’s collective energy-body. Their Light infusion activates everything unlike itself. Humans fight their demons. As demons fall through human will and conquering, Angels remove the dark force from earth. The new, cleansed energy feels regenerative like negative ions in the forest or at the beach. As the purification progresses, each person of good will carries fewer dark burdens. The Angels and spiritually aspiring humans work together, blending their forces to transmute the earth’s darkness into Light. The Christ Spirit permeates the world like an auric radiation. It is made up of the composite thoughts and energies of every aspiring man, angel and superbeing. The work of the Christ Spirit is to ray out divine love and encouragement to every creature in existence. One of its most vital services is bringing human beings to regeneration and self conquest. The Christ Spirit is a ministering influence. It is composed of dedicated participants who awaken the latent divinity in man. This Spirit surrounds us with impulses that we may gradually die to the shadow influences.

After the Angels of Purification, on December 23rd come Angels of Upliftment and Inspiration. There is a desire to break free from old limitations and illusions. These Angels of Transformation work on your Mental Body, softening and changing negative beliefs. False beliefs of lack and limitation are highlighted for review and replacement.

On Dec 24th, the sacred energies precipitate down the God Ladder to your Emotional Body—transforming, aligning, and renewing it. The rejoicing begins and goes deeper than ever before, preparing you for The Sacred Procession at midnight on Christmas Eve. Anticipation of the holy event fills the air and swells the heart.

THE SACRED GATHERING

PERFECT HARMONY Have you ever participated in a group event where lots of things were happening—all in perfect harmony? Sometimes, when a group meal is being prepared, everyone pitches in to make it fun. Even when something does go wrong, instead of a crisis, everyone laughs. It becomes the focus of jokes and laughter. Negativity doesn’t exist in these occasions. This is the attitude of the high beings who gather to witness The Sacred Procession on Christmas Eve. This is also the way it feels when Angels are present in daily life. It is a magical, spirit energy. Some call it the Christmas Spirit. To picture the Sacred Gathering, first imagine billions of people all magically converging in an enormous stadium event—all in perfect, divine order. Everyone works together to find his perfect, appointed place—without stress, competition, or ego battle. Like an exquisitely choreographed ballet, each person configures—easily and joyfully.

At this rare celestial gathering, there is no need to shield against the chaotic, toxic bombardment that is so often present with mundane gatherings. Rather, here in this haven of The Sacred Procession, a safe, internal, “spiritual adult” archetype operates like a gyroscope centering each person in their Divine Light. Harmony, cooperation, trust, and divine order automatically prevail. As you look around, you see nobility, dignity, harmony, relaxation, and peace everywhere. Joy radiates from every face. Everyone is smiling. How often do you see that on earth?!

DIVINE ORDER This frictionless movement from Higher Being—united in oneness and love—characterizes the Sacred Gathering. This is another indicator that Angels are present. When you begin going through Spiritual Initiations, you will attend events on the inner planes—often during sleep—where thousands of Light Workers convene peacefully, quietly, and with ease. There is an anti-gravity quality to the participants, floating in perfect grace and divine order. Thousands of people move as if directed by a single inner voice. At first, it might be unbelievable to you. Sometimes, it takes years for your conscious mind to figure-out what you experience in superconscious states. By witnessing The Sacred Processions each year, you receive training in the sacred ways of being. Over time, you bring these peaceful styles into your earthly life. Your posture becomes more noble and dignified. Your attitude becomes positive and joyous. Your way of moving across a room softens with grace. You smile for no earthly reason—much like the Buddha’s smile.

THE SACRED PROCESSION

PLANETARY BLESSING In the following chapter, I will try to convey the experience of The Sacred Procession. I’m reminded of Rumi’s complaint that language is an ill-fitting suit in the Divine Tailor Shop. Certainly, earthly language is limited in contrast with the vast, divine realms. However, we will forge ahead. The Sacred Procession starts in Jerusalem at midnight and moves around the world, longitudinally dispensing the Sacred Dew with its electric-silk energy consecration. Transcending time and space in your meditation, you can visit The Sacred Procession at any time.

Everyone receives the blessings of The Sacred Procession whether they are “good” people or not. God loves saints and sinners equally. Cleansed and prepared by winter solstice, Spiritual Initiates can appreciate and enjoy The Sacred Procession on the inner worlds as well as the external celebration of Christmas—thereby receiving many blessings to fortify for the New Year. A few hours before the Midnight Procession, there is a dazzling Light on the inner worlds—full of resplendent colors—like a holy dawn. Angels of Joy move in waves across the planet. Exultant angel choruses resound with “Hallelujah!” Angels of every size and description flood the earth preparing the energy field for the holy convocation. As The Sacred Procession begins, legions of Angels gather to witness and to participate.

LEADING THE PROCESSION Leading the Procession are the mightiest Angels in all creation. They are the seraphim and cherubim who guard God’s throne. They are thousands of feet tall, sheets of shining, holy—almost blinding—Light. Their awesome presence practically knocks you over. You feel like falling to the ground in reverence as they pass you. These are the Mighty Protectors of Good. They are God’s greatest emissaries to humanity. Hosts of Angels fill the air as far as the eye can see in every direction. They march in rank including Angel Princes and Angel Kings who have come to honor the Christ Presence on earth. The holy dignitaries include Angels of Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities, and Archangels. You see Archangel Michael, the avenger, protector, and warrior with his mighty Sword of Truth. He will stand to fight and defend you with his Shining Sword and Diamond Shield. (Listen to my Wisdom Circle class on Archangel Michael’s Diamond Shield for more information.) Archangel Gabriel, the renewer and God’s messenger marches next. He helps you to become a clear channel of thought, word, and deed. Through him, you develop clairaudience, and clairvoyance. He helps you to hear the Voice of God inside you. He opens Gateways to your Intuitional Body. You see Archangel Raphael, the master healer, marching in The Sacred Procession. He is surrounded by a battalion of Healing Angels, agents of God on earth. His Angels anchor each hospital and healing bed. Healing Angels work closely with doctors and nurses. Next, you see Archangel Uriel, the Holy Comforter of Sorrows. He works closely with Mother Mary and all those

who lift human suffering. He is the caretaker of music and the arts. Archangel Zadkiel is the master of wisdom, teachers, and prayers. Zadkiel Angels carry the Christ Presence throughout the world. There is a Zadkiel Angel at every consecrated altar—public or private. Wherever wisdom teachings are given, Zadkiel Angels abound. The Angels in the Procession are an indescribable, Holy Presence. They are radiant and effulgent with Divine Light. They move with unspeakable power, grace, and love. There is nothing on earth that compares with this celestial gathering. As you stand and watch The Sacred Procession, you are changed forever. You absorb the energies of the Angelic Host to share with family and friends later. Some Angels are so tall, you can’t see their heads. They are thousands of miles tall. As they pass, it’s like being at the bottom of an angel canyon. You feel tiny and insignificant, like looking up at skyscrapers—only the Angels are much taller. At one Sacred Procession, I was being reconstructed by a passing angel. Veil after veil of soft energies moved through me, recreating me. Finally, I realized I was in the bottom of her skirts! The Angels pack into multi-dimensions that are difficult to describe in earthly terms. Because there is no gravity on the inner worlds, Angels can “stand” on each other’s shoulders. They crowd-in to see The Sacred Procession, stacked tightly like sardines, for miles in every direction, on every dimension. Gustav Dore’s depictions of gigantic angel vortices are the best earthly renderings of the teeming multiplicities of Angels co-existing in the same space. The limits of earth’s space/time duality don’t allow such events. The divine worlds operate by very different laws. The angelic surround is dizzy-making. You could faint if you were not so inebriated with sheer joy and ecstasy! Your divine hunger is being fed. You are miraculously being deconstructed and made whole again.

CELESTIAL COLOR The Angels bring with them music, color, and fragrance unlike anything you have experienced on earth. Other worldly colors are everywhere. Madonna blue, green apple, peach, soft pinks, and celestial pastels hang in the air. Diaphanous veils of colored Light move through you, extending upward for thousands of feet. The colors are different from earthly colors. On the inner worlds, colors can coexist. For example, yellow and blue on earth would combine to create green. On the inner worlds, you can see yellow and blue simultaneously without their merging into blue. The colors hang like a mist. They are tangible. When the Procession passes and a color wave moves through you, the color literally moves through you. It feeds every atom of your body, rearranging your atoms, cells, organs, and glands. Your entire being is reconstructed. Your whole vibration changes.

You are nourished by the color as if it were food. There is often a fragrance that goes with the color. Color is a living presence. It passes through you and recreates you.

SACRED SOUND Sacred sound similarly moves through you and changes you. The sound shimmers inside. The joyous laughter of cherubs and tinkling bells rearrange your molecules. There are vast columns and sheets of celestial sound. Great swells of cosmic music move like wind through the many universes. Like an invisible bridge, the sound literally connects you to other universes. You are imprinted with new knowledge and understanding. Gateways into other worlds open effortlessly. The Sacred Procession itself creates a cosmic sound, like a tuning-fork joyously echoing throughout the multiverse.

BRAIN FREEZE As the Procession passes, the energy intensifies. You can’t think when you’re in the powerful presence of these Angels. Your mind stops working. The magnitude of their being cancels out your persona. Your earthly personality feels beside the point and far away—out of reach. You can’t even remember who you are. To crank up a persona seems like a foolish exercise. Why would I want an ego when I have all that is? Earthly, human life feels reductive—like living inside a shoebox contrasted to having the whole universe as your playground. Coming back to earthly reality would be a terrible loss, an indignity, and a sacrifice. “Honey, Who Shrunk the World?” would be the name of that movie! Earthly life becomes a distant memory in the presence of these High Being.

GOLDEN DISC To describe the feeling of The Sacred Procession: Imagine everyone in the world standing on a golden disc, facing a golden sun. The sun emanates divine waves of sacred consecration, one after another in tangible form. Every human receives—purification, love, peace, joy, clarity, wisdom, surrender, freedom, grace, forgiveness, redemption, consecration, harmony, divine order, courage, renewal. These waves of divine dispensation keep coming until everyone in the world is drunk on Light, liberated from the illusion of earthly life. The Light dissolves the chains of false beliefs that bind humanity to pain and ignorance. Everyone is free. The Divine Light goes behind the fabric of each person’s life showing deeper levels of reality. Each person’s identity expands until she knows that she is God, literally. She stands in awe of the miracle of all life and the gift of her own existence in human form. Nothing remains but wonderment, gratitude, and rejoicing.

For a split-second, which lasts an eternity, everyone aligns with goodness, wholeness, and freedom—their divine inheritance. Each person stands in her Light Body Triumphant.

THE ARMY OF GOD Looking around the Sacred Gathering at the Procession, you realize that you stand in the Army of God. Everyone of goodwill on earth stands with you. After this experience you will never again walk alone. You know the Truth of your Being. In the divine realm, familiar laws, restrictions, and polarities dissolve. There is oneness and inexplicable wonderment. These worlds extend far beyond the mind and mental constructs. Divine realms of eternity, infinity, and perfection transcend and suspend earthly limits. Duality doesn’t exist here. For the human mind, this zone mandates Coleridge’s “willing suspension of disbelief”—writ large! The mind is easy to drop here. On divine planes, the mind is a plodding, clumsy weight—an impediment. By contrast, Spirit flies!

THE GREAT ARCHETYPES After the Angels, the great archetypes “march” in The Sacred Procession. They are high velocity, spinning vortexes of electric energy and intelligence. These are the same archetypes found in the Tarot: Empress, Emperor, Hierophant, Magician, Fool, mother, father, lover, adult, child, leader, servant, etc. They are the basic essences of human consciousness that exist everywhere on earth—across cultures and history. Archetypes are the divine alphabet. Their alchemy constructs and re-constructs human consciousness. The fastest way to change your consciousness is to change your archetypes. WORLD PANTHEONS Deities from the world’s pantheons throughout history march next in The Sacred Procession. You see the Egyptian pantheon; the Greek pantheon; the Roman pantheon; the Norse gods; Native American Indian deities; African deities; the Hindu pantheon; Buddhist deities, etc. These are the great bridges for humanity to the higher worlds. They are the helpers who raise human gaze above the material plane.

INTERGALACTIC HIERARCHY Next in The Sacred Procession, you see representatives

from the Intergalactic Spiritual Hierarchy. They are cosmic masters from across the many universes. They have volunteered to come to the Procession to honor the Christ. Many of them also have volunteered to serve humanity for the upcoming year. It is a great honor for earth to receive them. Many of them are Galactic Christs and Solar Christs. They have received eons of training to first become a planetary Christ and then graduate to Solar and Galactic levels of Christhood. After the Intergalactic Spiritual Hierarchy, dignitaries from other planets appear in The Sacred Procession. Lords of the Universes and Lords of the Worlds pay homage to the earth’s Christ.

THE CHRIST OFFICE The training to fill the Christ office is extremely rigorous. The function of the office is to transform darkness into Light, ignorance to wisdom. Each Christ is a savior, a

redeemer. Their living is salvific. Christhood requires absolute integrity, purity, and strength of character to contain the immense power of the office without corruption. The spiritual impeccability required for Christhood is unparalleled. The Christs are dedicated to God service. They have superhuman strength, yet they are gentle. Their love extends to the darkest outposts of humanity. Through tremendous self-sacrifice and overcoming, they know how to transmute darkness to Light. They have learned discipline, devotion, and dedication. They are the great transformers who demonstrate the meaning of sacrifice—making sacred.

They purify, refine, and spiritualize earthly life. They have endured pressures, trials, and tribulations beyond imagination and triumphed—even over death.

PLANETARY SPIRITUAL HIERARCHY Next in the stately Procession, you see the earth’s Spiritual Hierarchy. These are planetary masters, spiritual leaders, and preservers of the earth’s welfare on the inner planes. Some of these include:

• Sanat Kumara, the Lord of the Many Worlds. • Lord Maitreya, the earth Christ who preceded Jesus.

There’s no hiding. You are vulnerable and naked. The Christ knows the Truth of your being. You experience a Grand Review of your life in the previous year. In that moment of recognition, it’s as if a blow-torch enters your heart, melting and purifying any heaviness.

Everything is forgiven. You are redeemed. All your grudges are forgiven. You feel touched by the hand of God. It is a flashpoint connecting the Christ Presence and you to the God Source. You feel diamond clarity, purity, and wholeness surging through you.

YOUR GIFT OF PROMISE You dissolve in Light. With the last shred of awareness, your heart flies open. Then, you let your Gift of Promise fly out of your heart. Yes! You release your Gift of Promise for the next year into the Christed Presence. In a spontaneous rush of enormous love, you dedicate this spiritual Gift to strengthen all of humanity. Your Gift represents the Will to Good in all of us. Your Gift is your pledge for the New Year—what you will change in yourself to be of greater service to God’s plan. Your willingness to be a standup person for God and for goodness on earth manifests Christ Presence on earth. In your holy moment of gift-giving, you are melded with the Christ Presence The ideal from your Gift of Promise stays in your aura for the year ahead, helping you to fulfill your contract to the Christ. It is imprinted in your awareness. Once your Gift of Promise becomes a Gift of Triumph manifest in your earthly life, it goes into the Pool of Luminosity. SPIRITUAL INITIATES After the Christ Presence, all the Spiritual Initiates of the world march by rank in The Sacred Procession. The highest initiates march first. In the front of each rank are those Light Bearers who sacrificed the most of themselves in service to humanity and to the Christ Spirit during the preceding year. These are the year’s Spiritual Champions. Special legions of Angels move above these advanced initiates, blessing them. Among the earth’s Spiritual Initiates are the great planetary servers throughout time. You see famous leaders and inventors of electricity, medicine, science, finance, law, social sciences, art, music, writing, philosophy, politics, communications, computer science, and electronics. All the great contributors to the advancement of humanity

walk with the initiates. They are honored for their sacrifice and their gifts in service to the greater Good.

SEVENTH GATEWAY INITIATES The higher degree Spiritual Initiates walk first. They walk with dignity as if they had crowns on their heads. They have discerned Truth from illusion. These are the Seventh Gateway Initiates, the liberated ones. They have realized Blessed Ordinariness, consecrating each day to God’s plan. They bring their whole being to all that they do. They bring God to each moment of their day. These initiates carry peace and great equanimity. They have passed enough Spiritual Initiations to graduate from School House Earth. However, they have decided to stay and to liberate the rest of humanity. These bodhisattvas embody Participatory Divinity. They have been initiated by all 7 Rungs of the God Ladder. They have fully digested, assimilated, and integrated the lessons of all 7 Rungs. Without spiritual escapism, they are grounded, practical mystics who walk the spiritual talk—fully anchored on earth and in heaven. They are not deluded by spiritual denial or spiritual escapism. They have transcended the illusion that the divine realm is “better than” the earthly realm. Rather, they have learned the privilege of human life. To be born human is higher than the gods. Through incarnation, humans have direct access to both earthly duality and the non-dual divine realms. By contrast, the gods live in the divine realm without physical bodies. Without physical equipment, the gods are hampered. Duality is an amazing gift that humans carry with their birth certificate. Through duality, they gain free will. They burn-off the chains of karma and set entire worlds free. Seventh Gateway Initiates do not try to escape the lower three Rungs of the earthly

realm: physical, emotional, and mental. Living in duality is rigorous. It would be easier to go out of your body and bypass earthly realities. Instead, advanced initiates embrace the lessons, limits, and powers of each Rung on the God Ladder. They carefully develop skills to deal with both the earthly and divine aspects of themselves. They no longer polarize earthly and divine realms as good and evil. They know that it is not quite that simple! They have learned to decipher and to interpret the many worlds, properly assigning meaning and value to their many complexities. These advanced beings know how to take the Earth-Ride without falling. On a plane of duality, life is not a static, steady state. Earthly life goes up and down.

Rather than escaping duality, Seventh Gateway Initiates have fought their demons and mastered the ride. Seventh Gateway Initiates don’t live in a vacuum, frozen in other-worldly perfection. They have problems like the rest of us. However, they have learned skillful means of living. They are natural and authentic—down-to-earth folks who laugh a lot! Seventh Gateway Initiates are Clear Perceivers. They have discerned what is transient and what is eternal, what is permanent and what is passing. They understand that pain always passes. Because they don’t confuse their pain-body with their identity, they gain dominion. While they may experience pain, they have learned how to transcend suffering. They understand the temporary nature of the earthly realm. They think of their dualized physical, emotional, and mental bodies as a privilege to carry, but as transient and passing. They don’t confuse their life with their identity. Undeterred by sorrow or testing times, Seventh Gateway Initiates are balanced and integrated. They have transcended personal karma and live the Impersonal Life, serving the collective and the planet. No longer bound to the Wheel of Life, they move with noble grace; yet they are grounded. With expanded identity, they experience the planet as themselves. They process the pain of nations and the collective. Testing times that come to the planet are processed through their bodies before the rest of society. These spiritual champions are the first line of defense for humanity. Seventh Gateway Initiates buffer the pain and suffering that later precipitate to humanity. They are the “darkness eaters.” By transmuting darkness to Light, their very existence on earth is salvific. These Blessed Ones are humbly grateful for each day. They long ago dropped the illusion of perfection and embraced being human as a privilege. Acknowledging their Beautiful Brokenness in the human journey, they say, “I never would have loved so well, if I hadn’t been so broken.” As Rumi says, “The broken place is where the Light gets in.” They deal with their emotions, their bodies, and their minds appropriately—never confusing their earthly equipment with their True Identity. They have melted the frozen stiffness of memorized spiritual rules, dogma, and catechism. Theirs is a human, living spirituality. Abiding in the Indwelling Bliss, regardless of outer circumstance, they are independently contained and universally sustained.

SIXTH GATEWAY INITIATES The Sixth Gateway Initiates walk next in The Sacred Procession. Each level of Spiritual Initiation incorporates the entire range of powers and awareness from lower initiations. These Soul-Embodied, advanced initiates have recently evolved through the rigors of dissolution and off-planet retooling. At the Sixth Gateway they return to earth in the

Descension Arc of the God Ladder. They see the earth as newborn babies—with fresh eyes. They see the earth “warts and all” and it looks great! They carry the rebirth of wonder. The Sixth Gateway is similar to Buddha’s experience when he fell into the river, exhausted and emaciated from spiritual disciplines, fasting, and asceticism. At that epiphany, Buddha realized that you don’t have to die for God. Being spiritual can be fun! It needn’t be long-faced seriousness and ascetic denials. You can laugh and be human! At that moment, the Laughing Buddha was born. However, until he had explored the senses and contained them through disciplines, Buddha wasn’t free. He needed to become master of his body, emotions, and mind. Indeed, the lower three bodies make wonderful servants and terrible masters. Sixth Gateway Initiates specialize in Earth Love, sustaining intimacy in human relationships. Lessons of the heart and Soul are their forte. They provide the skills of human love and love of the earth—so needed in today’s world. They know that personal and planetary love are one. They value harmony and oneness in all relations. At this Initiation, you realize that there is nothing to do other than serve the Human Experiment on this sweet blue-marble earth. You have penetrated and dissolved even the higher illusions. Only God Service to humanity and bringing the wisdom teachings remain. Bereft of grandiose fantasies, your feet are firmly planted on the ground, in the Here and Now. The power of the small guides you.

FIFTH GATEWAY INITIATES The Fifth Gateway Initiates march next in The Sacred Procession. This is the Spiritual Initiation of God Realization. Due to spiritual advancement, at the Fifth Gateway, you are given the opportunity to graduate from School House Earth. At the Fifth Gateway, advancing through the complex skills of the God Ladder, you reach absorption in your 7th Rung God Source. Through its rigorous training and God crises, you reinvent your God. God is no longer outside of you. With true God Union, you are scoured free of karma. You no longer require incarnation to dissolve the karmic chains. At the Fifth Gateway, you are Liberated from the Wheel of Life. Because of your intensive Spiritual Pathwork, you have the option of leaving the Earth-Ride to pursue other cosmic, travel adventures.

If you decide to stay on earth, you become a Planetary Server, evolving humanity into the God Light. At the Fifth Gateway, the Initiate anchors God Source on earth. You now carry the 7th Rung God Source vibration in every atom of your body. God Light is contagious. The God vibration multiplies across the planet—energetically—without words. Because you have been so focused on the God Source, it is a shocking reversal to return to earth. It’s like coming back from the Rip-Van-Twinkle-Land of a long off-planet hiatus. This turning-point can be whiplash disorienting. You carry the vibration of the 7th Rung God Source, freshly installed in every atom of your body, every aspect of your being. Now, on the descent down the God Ladder, you will gradually implant that information in the earth’s energy body. At the Fifth Gateway, by deciding to stay when you have earned emancipation, there is a new appreciation for earthly life. Spiritual philosophies have become bone, blood, and brain. They are assimilated and integrated into your human experience. Pretty, ethereal God thoughts evaporate. You are grounded in mature, adult spirituality. No more spiritual space-cadets, no longer a spiritual addict, you are a spiritual adult. You fully see the limitations of both earthly and divine realms. You have been threshed and thrashed and shredded by Spiritual Pathwork—over and over again. And, you are still standing, still wildly in love with God, still open and pliable and surrendered to God service—still with a soft and ready heart to serve the Good.

FOURTH GATEWAY INITIATES The Fourth Gateway Initiates proceed next in The Sacred Procession. At the Fourth Gateway, you experience the beginning of the Great Dissolve through the immaculate purity of your 7th Rung Fertile Emptiness. Because of your spiritual discipline, sacrifice, and service, you transcend human ego. You return to your God Source. In this deconstruction process, you understand the Void of All That Is. Disillusionment characterizes the Fourth Gateway. This advanced Spiritual Initiation can be a harsh experience. Just when you think there is nothing else that you can sacrifice and give to God, there is a greater dissolution of self. As the self gets deconstructed—yet again—you reorient to a much larger God.

Grief creates space for new life. As you embrace the new emptiness, you realize that the larger space is to contain your expanded self. The irony is, there is much, much less of “you” in the expanded self! Immersed in 7th Rung Universal God Source, all the Personal God concepts that you treasured at the 6th Rung now seem meaningless. They become like children’s toys. The direct experience of the 7th Rung Universal God is so much more. It stretches far beyond the mind’s domain. It literally “blows your mind.” Ego dissolution emancipates the Fourth Gateway Initiate from the hypnotic trance of earthly concerns. You once wanted to “leave your mark” on earthly life. Now, you don’t want to leave a trace. The Fourth Gateway is very Taoist. In a vow of reclusivity, you may move to the forest and study with nature. Other popular choices at this initiation are celibacy and spiritual retreat. You are learning “to have nothing and to want for nothing.” Aloneness, silence, and the Void are your teachers now. As Spiritual Initiations progress, you become increasingly transfixed by the Great Immensity of Nothingness. Ramana Maharshi says, “Close your eyes and the whole world is full of Spirit.” At the Fourth Gateway, you may feel disorientated as your inner bodies retool—aligning with your 7th Rung, the Infinite Eternal Void. All your pretty mental philosophies are digested in a deeper, more profound, less verbal integration. Words are inadequate. The mind cannot capture that which goes beyond the mind. How can the Great Eternal Immensity be so much more, and yet so much less!? Humble respect for The Great Mystery replaces your mental constructs. THIRD GATEWAY INITIATES Next in The Sacred Procession, you see the Third Gateway Initiates proudly marching. They have mastered detachment and surrender. Unattached to earthly life, they have become Truth Tellers. Your Third Eye opens at the Third Gateway. These Spiritual Initiates specialize in intergalactic travel. Transcending space and time, they bring earthly awareness to other universes and galaxies. They return from these cosmic destinations introducing new, intergalactic information to earth. At the Third Gateway, opening the portal to cosmic travel greatly expands your identity. The multiverse is exponentially more vast than you previously imagined. By contrast, your earthly self is tiny and

insignificant. Your earthly ego takes a blow to its grandiosity! At the Third Gateway, you consciously access and embody the Divine White Fire of your God Self. You study with the 6th Rung of your God Ladder. Your understanding of Divine Father undergoes numerous, radical redefinitions as your consciousness expands. Your Personal God concepts dissolve, reconstruct, and dissolve again. How do you hold onto vaporous mist? Third Gateway Initiates are challenged to drop old, rigidly calcified ideas about God. You step into a new, deconstructed world. You reinvent God and reinvent God again! Unlike the exuberance of the First and Second Gateways, the Third Gateway can be a rigorous, sobering, severe experience. However, it is equally liberating. SECOND GATEWAY INITIATES The Second Gateway Initiates march next in The Sacred Procession. They are glowing golden with the halo of enlightenment and the Soul’s love. The wisdom of Divine Mother and their Christ Self is easily available to them. At the Second Gateway, you evolve beyond the earth’s space/time Psychic Barrier. You penetrated the illusion of earthly duality. You become “crazy with love” for the non-dualized divine realm. The center of your learning is through your heart and throat chakras. The 4th and 5th Rungs of your God Ladder become your teachers. These are the Soul’s domains. They are intensely immersed in love, unity, harmony, and divine wisdom. You newly embody Soul Infusion which has radically elevated your vibration. You are sensitive to higher worlds now. As you consciously access your divine Rungs, you begin to do miracles. You learn that miracles are your natural birthright. You glimpse other realities. As the veil between earthly and divine realms opens, you begin to time-travel. Your far-memory of past lives awakens. You transcend earthly conventions of time and space, accessing non-local information. At the Second Gateway, you begin the long journey of liberation from duality. In your daily meditations, you access lower samadhis and ecstatic states. You directly experience your divine inheritance. Spiritual Pathwork is no longer an abstraction. Sensing the fierce battles that await you in spiritual training, Second Gateway Initiates joyfully rise to the call. FIRST GATEWAY INITIATES The Persian spiritual traditions says that God Spirit slumbers in the mineral kingdom, moves in the vegetable kingdom, desires in the animal kingdom, and awakens in the humans. The First Gateway Initiates are newly awakening to the wonders of spiritual life. They march next in The Sacred Procession. At the First Gateway, you sense the reality of the divine Rungs of your God Ladder. You vaguely feel that there must be “something” beyond the material world. Occasionally, through films, or dreams, or synchronicities, you experience altered-states of consciousness. In dreams, you can walk through walls, leap tall buildings, and change the hands on the clock. There must be more to life than earthly experience! Through intermittent forays, you may actually penetrate the Psychic Barrier between earthly and divine realms. You are awakening to the need for more self-knowledge. You know that your physical, emotional, and mental bodies require discipline. But, you need a spiritual teacher to lead the way. You yearn to rise-above your self-absorbed ego. First Gateway Initiates are still clumsy and erratic in their spiritual discipline. They meditate and/or pray most days. Resembling bouncing, eager “spiritual pups” in their enthusiasm for discovery on the Spiritual Path, they are humble, open, and joyous. Full of ideals, they have been tested and remain committed to the Path. Deeply aspiring, they are eager to learn the holy ways. They know that only God suffices.

YOUR GIFT OF TRIUMPH Spiritual Initiates attend The Sacred Procession with the Gift of Triumph that they have earned from the last year in spiritual victory. They carry a symbol of this triumph with them in the parade. This symbol is carried high above the Initiate’s head as she marches proudly in this auspicious Procession. You see one Spiritual Initiate holding an opalescent heart that she retrieved from her dark battle with love illusions in the past year. Another champion holds a radiant sun above his head, symbol of his spiritual purification. Another spiritual champion holds a turquoise shield high. DISCIPLES AND ASPIRANTS In the Sacred Gathering watching The Sacred Procession, you see spiritual disciples, who are committed to the Sacred Teachings. They have not yet penetrated the earthly space/time Psychic Barrier. However, they attend the Gathering proudly, knowing the honor they carry to be among the holy host. IDENTITY FOCALIZER Become conscious of where your identity is focalized on the God Ladder in any given moment. Notice where your sense of “self” anchors on the God Ladder. Do you see how your “self” changes throughout the day? For example, at lunch, your identity focuses in your Physical Body. When you fight with your boss, your identity anchors in your Emotional Body. In the heated political debate with your friend, “you” identify with your Mental Body’s beliefs. Using your God Ladder over time, you begin to ask “Who am I? Which of these is my True Self?” Working with your God Ladder will expand your identity to include both heaven and earth. Both your earthly and divine equipment are your birthright.

QUESTIONS ON THE PATH When you become advanced, you will ask,

Where is my True Self stationed on the God Ladder in any given moment? Where is my refuge and renewal regardless of earthly events? How do my various selves inter-relate? How do they trigger each other? Where am I leaking personal power? Where am I being untrue to myself? Where do I lack integrity? Am I overly investing in my lower Rungs? Are my appetites, emotions, and rigid beliefs arresting my development? Am I using my upper Rungs as spiritual escapism? Am I avoiding the difficult work of cleaning-up my lower three bodies?

Your God Ladder illumines both the manifest and unmanifest realms. It is a map of both the constructed and unconstructed worlds—The All-That-Is and Nothingness—the describable and the Ineffable. We are all resurrected Christs in our True Identity. The God Ladder leads you to your True Self.

YOUR TOTAL ANATOMY To be human is the marriage of earthly and divine. You carry both heaven and earth inside you. The God Ladder maps your Total Anatomy, including both your earthly and divine bodies. Your divine bodies include the four top Rungs:

THE PSYCHIC BARRIER Between the two realms, there is a Psychic Barrier. This veil separates the dualized earthly realm from the non-dual, divine realm. To enter the divine worlds, you must awaken from the hypnotic trance of earthly time and space. You must penetrate the Psychic Barrier. In spiritual evolution, after you penetrate the Psychic Barrier, you enter a zone where you become sensitive to higher, spiritual worlds. In this range of your Total Anatomy, you transcend time and space. You can directly access non-local information. You begin to time-travel, accessing past-lives and other places in the multiverse. When you transcend the Psychic Barrier, you learn that earthly facts are transient, relative, and earth-bound. Facts change at different times in history. “Facts” are also determined my local customs and culture. By contrast, in the divine realm, Truth is eternal and unchanging. You are not limited by earthly duality. In your daily living, you begin to discern Truth from factual illusion. You begin to awaken to the many differences between your earthly and divine bodies.

HEAVEN AND EARTH The earthly realm is familiar to you as your physical, emotional, and mental bodies. These bodies are highly polarized and limited by earthly duality: right/wrong, good/bad, up/down, left/right, male/female, hot/cold, summer/winter, mine/yours, war/peace, night/day. This is the relative world of earth’s space/time. Your divine realm includes your intuition, Soul, Personal God, and Universal God. These bodies are progressively less dualized as you ascend your God Ladder. At each ascending Rung, you access increased supply of unity, perfection, infinity, and eternity. This is the absolute world of heaven. Using your God Ladder helps you to understand all your equipment in the human journey.

YOUR EARTHLY BODIES Anything that is relative is incomplete and imperfect. By definition, your earthly equipment is dualized, limited, transient, and flawed. The moment you accept flesh, you accept limitation.

The 1st Rung is your Physical Body. It contains your somatic and sensory experience of life through your five senses: sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. It contains your material equipment. The 2nd Rung is your Emotional Body. It contains your affective, feeling responses to life, for example anger, fear, and sadness.

The 3rd Rung is your Mental Body. It contains your cognitive experience of life: your beliefs, concepts, and ideas. Your mind relates to your sense of earthly identity, time, and place. It is interested in accomplishing, analyzing, and problem-solving.

Because it is less tangible and more abstract, your Mental Body is more complicated to self-interview than your Physical Body. It is easy to confuse the voice-in-your-head with your Mental Body’s beliefs, or your Physical Body’s appetites, or your emotions. It’s also common to confuse all these voices with your ultimate identity. Your ultimate identity is untouched by the transiency of time and space. Your True Self anchors in the top Rungs of your God Ladder. Your essence is eternal, perfect, and unchanging. By contrast, your mind is full of dualized good and bad statements. "This is good. That is bad." Beliefs are often unconscious, created from your childhood, your family of origin, your nation, your place in society, your time in history, your gender, and/or your past lives. Your mind is in a constant state of flux as it darts about the transient, manifest world. As you awaken spiritually, your beliefs radically change. You begin to consciously weed your garden of negative thoughts and false beliefs. You begin to ask

Where do my thoughts and beliefs originate on my God Ladder? Who am I beyond my appetites and sensory experience? Who am I beyond what I think, feel, and believe? Who am I beyond death and this particular lifetime? I know there’s something inside me that never leaves. It’s an enduring witness or presence. Where is it on my God Ladder? What is it?

YOUR DIVINE BODIES The answers to these important questions lie in your divine equipment. Each ascending Rung becomes increasingly less dualized. Your 7th Rung Universal God is non-dual, unlimited, eternal, and perfect. As you evolve spiritually, you become increasingly aware of your divine bodies. You awaken to realms beyond your earthly equipment. Your divine bodies extend far beyond earth's limited space/time box.

The 4th Rung is your Intuitional or Psychic Body. It contains non-local information extending beyond your particular place in time and space. Psychic perceptions can be gathered from past, parallel, or future lives. By developing your Intuitional Body, you can access information across the multiverse. You develop far-memory. At the 4th Rung, you meet your Soul in her receptive mode. As your Divine Mother, your Soul is your loving teacher. She guides and nurtures your development through Spiritual Initiation. As you begin to remember past lives, your questions of Who am I? intensify.

The 5th Rung is the active principle of your Soul. This is your indwelling Christ Self. Here you learn right action, right speech, and selfless service in the world. The 6th Rung is your Personal God, your God Self. As your Divine Father, he teaches you the laws, limits, and duties of life. He gives you detachment, strength, spiritual maturity, and protection. He guides your transcension and liberation into the top Rung. The 7th Rung is the Universal God, the God Source. It both transcends and indwells All That Is. The 7th Rung Infinite Matrix, the Fertile Void is the essence warehouse of all material and non-material realms. It is your infinite power supply. This is your deepest, unchanging, True Identity.

Spiritual confusion can produce spiritual escapism and spiritual addiction. For example, during the terrorist war spiritual seekers had learned "All is one." However, they didn't understand the correct placement of Oneness on the God Ladder. "All is One" applies only at the 7th Rung of Universal God. At the personal, earthly level, you are not one with terrorists. In the lower Rungs of your God Ladder, you don't have the same address, body, hateful emotions, extremist beliefs, or terrorist Soul Contract! For clarity and integrity, it is important to clearly discern the right application of spiritual slogans on your God Ladder. Otherwise, you will get lost in false-spirituality, codependent giving, and rescuer/victim polarized scripts.

SPIRITUAL ADULT Using the God Ladder, you become a spiritual adult. The adult respects the law. The law honors the limits. Life has limits—severe ones. It is best to become conscious of those limits. Ignorance of life’s limits is a hazard of Spiritual Pathwork. At the lower Rungs, healthy boundaries—both personal and national—are imperative. Otherwise, you are in danger of becoming a "New Age space-cadet," fogged-out in make-nice and unclear about legitimate entitlement. The God Ladder insures right-action, clarity, and wisdom as you learn state-specific applications for each domain. Regular work with your God Ladder creates spiritual maturity. Using the God Ladder, you will avoid the traps of advanced spirituality with its many "spiritual diseases."

THE SEVEN FACES OF GOD Just as a prism differentiates clear light into its component rainbow colors, the God Ladder delineates the many planes of reality that simultaneously co-exist inside you. You begin to reverse-engineer each thought, feeling, and desire that moves through “you.” You ask “Where did that originate?” You are determined to locate its point of origin on your God Ladder. Which Rung is dominating a particular moment? With rigorous self-interview, you notice the cacophony of voices and selves that parade through the arena of your consciousness—night and day! Until now, you assumed they were all “you.” Working with your God Ladder, you distinguish which thoughts originate from past lives, parents, religion, and society. You realize that many of your assumptions don’t even belong to you. They are residue from the hypnotic trance of other people’s ideas. Slowly, you discern your Authentic Self from your previously programmed selves. To gain awareness, throughout the day you ask:

SIMULTANEOUSLY EMBRACING OPPOSITES As you gain clarity, you realize that you are simultaneously embracing opposites. You contain them both in your expanded identity. No longer ensnared in polarized, black/white thinking, you have grown large enough to consciously contain both your earthly and divine realms at the same time. Living in the God Ladder is not a binary choice: earthly or divine. It’s the simultaneous co-existence the opposites of both heaven and earth inside you. As Churchill said “Life is a conundrum, wrapped in an enigma, shrouded in mystery.” Exercising your God Ladder aerobics creates Spiritual Champions. Soon, you will be marching in The Sacred Procession each year among the Spiritual Initiates!

CHRISTMAS ANGEL MEDITATION

In addition to your God Ladder, here are some meditations that you can do each Christmas to align with the sacred energies of this holy season. To begin, relax your body, your mind, and your emotions. Inhale and let go of all the cares of the day. Tell them to wait outside. You will deal with them later. This is your time just for you. Let go and let God support you. Inhale deeply and bring the relaxation down through all the muscles in your face. Relax your eyes, forehead, nose, and jaws. Even your tongue relaxes.

Relaxing even more deeply now. Bring the relaxation down into your neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. Let go of all tension. Feel your body being held by the Arms of God. The same powerful Arms that holds the earth in space support you now. Inhale and relax your chest and all your internal organs. Bring the relaxation down into your midsection. Your stomach is relaxed. Your abdomen, buttocks, thighs, legs, and feet relax. Just let go now. Relaxing. Relaxing—even more deeply. Let go into the Arms of God. See your Soul Star above the top of your head. Know your Soul as the part of you that never leaves you. Your Soul knows all that is: past, present, and future. It is the part of you that has lived and died many times. Your Soul is all-wise, all-loving, and all-knowing. Feel your Soul’s sparkling radiance shower through your entire being, activating all the glorious aspects of God within you. Inhale your Soul Star into the center of your chest. Feel your heart open as your Soul’s golden Light radiates throughout your body and your being. In the center of the room, your Soul reveals the splendor of Angels. See the Angel of Joy, spinning with delight, now before you. Feel her childlike exuberance. Inhale her joy into every atom of your body, every aspect of your being. Feel your aura expand as your heart opens wider. The Angel of Joy whispers in your ear, “Between birth and death, your only mandate is to enjoy.” Her ecstasy thrills you. Inhale joy. See the Angel of Peace. Feel her calm dignity as she anchors you in the center of your being. She is like a gyroscope centering you. Her peace radiates to fill the room. Feel her peace in your body. Let it in. With her peace, all the tension lifts off the cells of your body. Now, expand that peace until it fills your town, the nation, and the world. See the tension drop from all the faces as the radiant Angel of Peace indwells each human being.
