¿Why Colombia?, ¿Why Tuluá?

Colombia is the country of charm, its diversity, its fauna, its

beautiful places and its citizens make Colombia a single

country.

Colombia has more than 3,000 kinds of flowers, and more than

1,000 different kinds of animals on its territory, its people are

loving, cooperative and generous. Their food .. hmm, talk

about food is amazing, in Colombia you can find the best food

for your palate.

Adventures in Colombia are unique, you can wander at very

low cost, you can travel the country and fall in love every day

but, in Colombia, the only risk is stay. Might the best smiles in

Colombia live them, share with your adoptive family and not

wanting to go is one of the things that happen when you meet

Colombia.

Colombian Flag The Republic of Colombia,

is an unitary, constitutional republic

comprising thirty-two departments. It is

located in northwestern South America,

bordered to the northwest by Panama; to

the north by the Caribbean Sea; to the east

by Venezuela and Brazil; to the south by

Ecuador and Peru; and to the west by the

Pacific Ocean.

Colombian division in 32 departments Colombian

division in 5 Regions Colombian departments are

divided in 5 regions, Caribbean, Pacific, Andean,

Orinoco Savannah and Amazon Rainforest.

Caribbean region is known for it’s people full of

happynness and energy. (Barranquilla’s carnival take

place in that region). Andean Region is the largest

one, where you can find our capital city Bogotá D.C,

this region is full of worker and kind people living in

cities raised in the mountains and valleys. Pacific, as a

coast region, is also full of happy people, in this one

there’s a lot of afroamerican heritage. Orinoco and

amazon regions are the least inhabited, but have

lot’s of territory (There still remain some indigenous

communities)

visa is required, except for citizens of the following

countries (who stay strictly for tourism purposes and for a

maximum of 90 days):

depending on the age. It seeks, through

innovative and creative activities, to strengthen

educational processes and foster multiculturalism.

The main purpose is to foster multiculturalism in

educational institutions, children and adolescents,

letting them to widen their perspective about the

world and their global knowledge. Job

in public/private schools using Spanish or English.

Description:

WeSPEAK Project work on 2 Levels: for children and

Teenagers and sometimes adults.

WeSPEAK looks for potentialize and enhancing the

teaching and learning of any language especially the

practical-conversational field, developing

communication skills and increased language fluency.

It’s aimed to education institutions, languages

institutes, import and export focused enterprises,

NGOs and foundations.

Job Description Prepare sessions and workshops about

cultural and language topics. Each day is a different

workshop for the language and cultural lessons.

Prepare conversational spaces at least once each week

of the project, putting into practice the knowledge

that students have learned throughout each week.

Tulua is located in the deparment of Valle del

Cauca in Colombia, known as “The Heart of the

Valle”. It has long been a strategic locatión in the

center of the Valle del Cauca, the city is renowned

as a center for financial and bussiness services in

central and northern regions of Valle del Cauca. It

has a highly developed agricultural, industrial,

commercial, service and tourism.

The weather is tropical in Tulua, the average

temperature is 26°C to 28°C. The days are sunny

and very cool nights. Tulua is located between the

Western and Central Cordilleras of Colombia. This

city is rich in agriculture because of this climate,

allowing planting a lot of fruits and vegetables.

Juan Maria Cespedes.

It is owned by INCIVA (Scientific Institute of the Valley), Valley of

the Interior. Founded in 1948 honor of the hero of the

independence of Colombia Juan Maria Céspedes and scientific.

There are 154 hectares, of which approximately 130 are engaged

in research and conservation. It has the and seedlings of Guadua

Bamboo largest in Latin America. Important site for bird watching

and butterflies.

Lake Chilicothe.Lake located in the urban area between Saxony and neighborhoods Pueblo

Nuevo, south-west of the city and limiting the lane railroad, beautiful sunsets,

when you can see lots of "white herons" nesting in a tree located in the center

of the lake. The lake is surrounded by a park with trails and places to rest.

Mostly visited by couples from benches watching the comings and goings of

the birds and the movement of the waters of lake fish and led by the same air

of “tulueñas” afternoon. equal is also visited by fishermen.

Lake Chillicothe

Guadua Park.Beautiful natural site located in the urban area, at the southern entrance to

the city, has abundant crops of bamboo and exotic flowers (heliconia), trails

green, waterfall and natural pool of warm water, taken from a ditch of same

Tuluá River, tennis, playground, cafeteria, teatrino, lounge conferences,

meetings kiosks, meditation spaces and spaces for food preparation by the

families still like the traditional "walks pot." The name of the park Guadua

called GUILLERMO LEON PONCE DE PARIS, due to the memory of the illustrious

founder of LEVAPAN.

Lake Chillicothe

Located in the village of Mateguadua, if

uncovered via the path 20 minutes ago

in vehicle delay Juan María Céspedes

from the Botanical Gardens. If the

walking tour takes about an hour ago.

Beautiful natural site, very cold water,

white sand and large stones that

surround it. Locals offer Rapell practice

over the waterfall and River Rafting Tuluá

up to the Botanical Gardens.

The way to get to the waterfall borders

the river and on the course, plus the

sound of the waters can enjoy watching

butterflies and several species of birds.

Lake Chillicothe

Construction of colonial times perfectly

preserved, with its walls Bahareque

(system and housing construction techniquemade basically sticks woven reeds and mud) and brick floors. The

chapel is built on what was the first mill of Ingenio San Carlos. You can

see the stills, the Pelton wheel and 3 Km aqueduct carrying water from

a canal to the mill. Near the chapel there is also the first ranch house,

also built in adobe and interim beautiful garden.

Is located in the Cordillera Central in the Region Andina de los Andes in Colombia .

The park includes the corresponding thermal levels of temperate and cold, which

are the main Andean forest ecosystems , and subpáramo moor. The park is home to

flora and fauna not found elsewhere , like that endangered species . The Beautiful is

located in the boundary region between the macrocuencas the river Cauca and

Magdalena river . Includes watershed of some rivers, such as Nima , Amaime , Tulua

Amoyá and Anamichú . It also has many shortcomings give the unique appearance

quilt . Its area spans departments Tolima ( 80% ) and Ontario ( the remaining 20 %).

The municipalities of which is part are Rioblanco Planadas and Chaparral in Tolima

and Palmira , Buga , El Cerrito, and Pradera in Tulua Valle del Cauca.

Some famous drinks that can be enjoyed in Tulua are:

Chicha corn, "Oats Tolimense" Masato and shampoos,

etc.. between Typical dishes include: Chicken Stew,

Sausage or fill, and Tamal. There are also sweet dishes:

Debittering, Cuaresmero,'' Pudding'' (in Christmas) season

and Trasnochado. Not to mention the sweet Blancmange

typical of Valle del Cauca (Arequipe differs from

traditional Old Caldas its composition and preparation)

and family virancas Tumbaquí. Frost soybeans, and an

endless variety of dining. other dish great name and

tradition is breaded meat, which in the vicinity of Valle

del Cauca are known Chops, several internationally

recognized sites where you can have this dish one known

as "The Chapetas".

Tulua is in the center of Valle del Cauca, is

located 40 minutes of Santiago de Cali,

capital of Valle del Cauca. At 20 minutes

of Buga, one of the most important

religious cities of Colombia. One hour from

Calima Lake, one of the largest lakes of

Colombia. Besides being close to small

towns like Bugalagrande, Andalucía, San

Pedro and Roldanillo, where you can see

the entire culture of Valle del Cauca.
