Stage 2 Sydney Zoo Snooz Excursion
This overnight excursion will take place on Thursday
16 August - Friday 17 August. To reduce the financial
cost, we encourage families to start paying for this
excursion in instalments. The cost is now estimated
around $250. Plans for this excursion are almost
complete and permission notes will be sent home to
students as soon as possible.
Booral’s Got Talent
On the afternoon of Tuesday 3 July, Booral students
will have the opportunity to show off their special
talents. Students have been busy rehearsing at recess
and lunch for this event. More details about how to
enter and the cost of participation will be announced at
this week’s assembly. Students will only be eligible to
enter in one item each, whether it be a solo, duet or
group ensemble.
This activity is a wonderful fundraiser for the SRC
and we hope all students will get involved, either as a
contestant or audience member. We also welcome
parents and family members to come and enjoy the
show.
Dungog League Tag Day: Years 3-6 Students
Thank you to all the students who registered their
interest in this gala day. It looks as though we will be
able to field one 3/4 team and one 5/6 team. Mr
Collins is just waiting to confirm some details with the
organisers before proceeding with the organisation.
Permission notes will be sent shortly.
If you are able to assist by transporting other
students, please remember that we will need to sight
your licence and registration papers prior to the event.
This can be done at any stage, by presenting to the
office. Copies will be stored for future events.
Stroud Brick Throwing Parade
Booral students are invited to march in the parade at
the Brick Throwing Festival, Saturday 14 July. The
theme for this year’s parade is ’Planes, trains and
automobiles’. Staff will soon be preparing costumes for
the event and would like to have an indication of how
many students to cater for. If you are able to attend,
please inform your child’s teacher in writing in the next
week or so.
