Before entering the school grounds we urge you to look for the Service NSW COVID Safe QR code posters and complete the check-in process. If you are unable to access the Service NSW app, please complete an External Visitor form in the office.

There is also a second form to complete which is a requirement of the Department’s external visitor policy. Please be sure to sign both places correctly.

These important check-ins act as evidence that visitors are aware of, and will abide by their obligations to comply with the health advice of the day, including hygiene and distancing requirements. Visitors must provide personal contact information to the school to be used in an emergency or when performing contact tracing if required.

NAIDOC Activties

Dubbo ZooSnooz - Stage 2

What do you get when you combine 54 students, 5 teachers and a bunch of wild animals? An unforgettable trip of course.

Last week our Stage 2 students joined with Stroud and Stroud Road schools on the road to Dubbo. Freezing temperatures and rain did not dampen the enthusiasm as we visited the Old Dubbo Gaol and then Taronga Western Plains Zoo. A night walk through the zoo, accommodation in tents and an early morning adventure at the zoo were highlights of the trip. Our students had close encounters with some friendly possums and a colourful peacock, witnessed a tiger being fed (from a safe distance) and watched a group of otters playing in their enclosure. Although it was a tiring trip, the experience was unforgettable for our students. Dubbo Zoo is well worth a visit.

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The NAIDOC 2021 theme - Heal Country! - calls for all Australians to continue to seek greater protections for our lands, our waters, our sacred sites and our cultural heritage.

Our students will participate in a range of activities on Thursday 24th June in recognition of NAIDOC Week. Students are encouraged to come to school dressed in the colours of the Aboriginal flag (black, yellow, red) or the Torres Strait Islander flag (green, black, blue, white).

Due to construction still on going at

Booral Public School canteen will not

open until Term 3.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
