And wishing you better health, more success, and another good year in 2017. The trend for raw material, in short, is the following: - Skim Milk Powder prices are going up and we have seen an in- crease of more than 30% during the last 6 months. Our esti- mate is that the prices are going to continue the uptrend. - Oils and Fats have also seen an increase of around 15% through the last 6 months and we do foresee more increase in the coming months. - Sticks prices are also going up. So far the increase is limited to a few percentages, but we expect bigger increase in the months ahead. The road into 2017 looks uphill! In this first issue of Dan Ice World for 2017, we have included some information about new ideas, taken from packaging, to new ice cream recipe, and more. I hope you will find them inspiring! Design: When it comes to design of the packaging, IML is one of the most versatile and best looking solutions you can find. The colour of the plastic can either be transparent if you want your customer to be able to see the product, or you can tint the plastic container in whatever colour you want and in this way support your brand and logo in the very best possible way.

Also the printing of the label can be any design that you want. It can be nice looking high quality photos, drawings of graphical de-signs. Yog’Ice - Frozen Dessert Concept Frozen yogurt is recognized to be a fresh and delicious treat, with a healthy image. The frozen yogurt is lower on fat compared to traditional ice cream. The acidic flavour from yogurt is supporting the fruit flavours and inspires new flavour combinations. The Yog’Ice product contains high level of yogurt, but the usage of the yogurt powder makes the mix processing and ingredient hand-ling very similar to the standard ice cream mix process. Ice-cream Market in UK booming – Top 20 Flavours The UK's ice cream industry is gearing up for a 2017 sales bo-nanza as demand for ice cream continues to soar. Ice cream sales generated a sales in excess of 1 B £ in UK, where mobiles sellers and ice cream parlours are popping up everywhere. Ice Cream Alliance, the organization of ice cream producers in UK, announced the top 20 flavours used in UK. Top of the list were Va-nilla, Chocolate and Strawberry - and basically, as the general trend for the most of the world shows. The rest of the flavours on the list were the following: 4. Mint Choc Chip 5. Choc Chip Cookie Dough 6. Rocky Road 7. Cookies and Cream 8. Butterscotch 9. Coconut 10. Raspberry Ripple followed by Banana, Rum and Raisin, Coffee, Tutti Frutti, Pi-stachio, Chocolate Marshmallow, Praline Pecan, Vanilla Fudge Ripple, Mint, and Fudge Chunk.
